12.01.2022 The Department's COVID website has been updated today to advise that the Australian citizens, permanent residents and their immediate family as well as holders of a 188 visa will be automatically exempt from travel restrictions and they can enter Australia without obtaining an individual exemption.

11.01.2022 I am pleased to advise that the Covid-19 Concessions Regulations have been released to assist certain temporary and provisional visa holders who have been affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. Examples of the concessions are subclass 888 visa applicants receiving concessions to the application requirements and to the visa criteria such as the residence and business activity requirements as well as the visa requirements and criteria for the subclass 887 (Skilled-Regional) and subclass 485 (Temporary Graduate) visas.
