25.01.2022 This is a gorgeous photo of bride Rebecca and her beautiful mum Esther who is currently living with pancreatic cancer. Rebecca organised her special day in just 3 weeks - as soon as restriction eased, and wedding guest numbers were increased to 100. It was a memorable day for all filled with family, friends, laughter, and love. Rebecca and Esther are also looking forward to Esther welcoming her first grandchild in April 2021.... #love #family #hope #pancreaticcancer #makingmemories

20.01.2022 As we reflect on what has been a very difficult and challenging year for so many, we feel overwhelmed by the support and generosity that you have shown Pancare throughout 2020. We feel such gratitude towards our wonderful community of incredible and inspiring people. Your daily demonstration of strength and determination, your attendance at our support groups and virtual events, your personal donations and your generosity in sharing your stories with others to provide support... and hope, has meant so much to the Pancare team, and for that we’d like to say thank you. We are gearing up for a big year in 2021, our commitment to being a leading voice for pancreatic and upper gastrointestinal cancer is unwavering. We are working hard to ensure that we see more money invested into research, that we see greater awareness of the cause and that we provide more support to more Australians impacted by these devastating cancers. Thank you again for all you do, and we look forward to your continued support in the new year.

19.01.2022 As we prepare for the year ahead, we take a moment to honour the life of Julian Jules Jefferis, a dear friend of Pancare. Jules sadly passed away in late December after a three-year journey with pancreatic cancer. Despite the many challenges Jules faced throughout his treatment, he continued to inspire hope in others and be a driving force for change calling for greater awareness, funding and research for pancreatic cancer.... He passionately united his strong community of work colleagues, family, friends and beloved rugby club in fundraising and advocacy to help bring greater attention to the disease and the work of Pancare Foundation. His rich legacy and passion will continue to live through our actions and commitment. Our thoughts are with Julian’s family, including his wife Allie and their extended family and friends. Jules, we thank you for your dedication. You’ll be deeply missed by us all. We’ll fight for you

16.01.2022 Some wonderful news to announce as we head towards the end of 2020. Our incredible partner Floorworld, with the support their supplier partners, customers and staff, raised an amazing $27,000 for Pancare Foundation as a result of their impactful awareness activity and promotions supporting the cause over Pancreatic and Stomach Cancer Awareness Month in November. These funds will go directly towards funding research into early detection and new treatments and our much needed patient support service. We are thrilled and grateful that this partnership has already lead to such an incredible result that will help lay the foundations for change for some of Australia’s toughest cancers and we look forward to continuing this meaningful partnership into the future. #partnership #community #support #cancerresearch
