21.01.2022 Pandanus Medical Practice is excited to welcome back Dr Taylan Gurgenci after his overseas deployment. Dr Taylan Gurgenci completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Queensland in 2012. He is also currently a Medical Officer in the Australian Defence Force (ADF). While serving in the Defence Force and to enhance his medical skill, Taylan completed several speciality courses including the Early Management of Severe Trauma (EMST) and Civi...l Aviation medicine. He has been providing quality, safe and efficient healthcare to ADF personnel within Australia and operational postings overseas. He also has gained extensive work experience while working in Logan Hospital as a senior medical officer, diagnosing, treating and managing civilian patients illnesses. Taylan is also keen in providing quality medical care to the community and has joined Pandanus Medical Practice on a part-time basis. 12.01.2022 Pandanus Medical Practice would like to introduce Doctor Annie Lee Annie completed her medical degree at the Bond University after studying Pharmacy at University of Queensland. She worked as a clinical pharmacist for 3 years prior embarking on her medical journey. She has worked in Mater Hospital and Greenslopes Private Hospital as resident doctor. She has interests in womens health, and a focus on preventative health, wellness promotion and chronic diseases management. Paediatrics is also one of her many clinical passions. Outside of work she enjoying spending time with her toddler and cooking for her family. She looks forward to providing quality medical care to the community and meeting new and existing patients

06.01.2022 Pandanus Medical Practice would like to introduce our new General Practitioner to our team Dr Katrina Thackeray. For those of you who have not had the chance to meet Katrina yet, she will be available at Pandanus Medical Practice for appointments on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesday, Fridays and every second Saturday. Dr Thackeray studied medicine at University of Queensland. She has previous degrees in nursing and science. Katrina completed her GP Fellowship in rural Queensland... and is a Fellow of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine with an advanced skill in anaesthesia. Katrina is a qualified Early Management of Severe Trauma (EMST) provider. She is interested in all areas of general practice across the lifespan, with special interest in paediatrics, chronic disease, and aged and palliative care. Katrina looks forward to welcoming and assisting patients at Pandanus and we are happy to welcome her to the fast growing - Pandanus Family. See more
