You are invited to join us in store for a book-signing with local author, researcher, international speaker and organic expert Gerry Gillespie, whose new book is The Waste Between Our Ears: The Missing Ingredient to Disrupt Climate Change Is in the Trash. (Note that the book will be launched ONLINE at 9am on Wednesday 28 October, one day prior to the in-store signing at Paperchain. See below for link to launch.) With chapters about source separation, soil management and climate change, and practical approaches to zero waste, the author presents a logical, practical argument for one way to save the world and grow a local economy. He details how this reduction of waste is already being achieved in parts of the world and how we could do it globally if we could only think differently. Advocates, nonprofit directors, waste managers, landfill directors, environmentalists, entrepreneurs, eco-farmers and anyone searching for environmental solutions and opportunities with source separation should not only read this book we can change our thinking, and put Gillespie’s plan into action!
