25.01.2022 Have a great week everyone. Stay safe. Hang in there take a break, breathe, rest and practice self care when you need to.

25.01.2022 In this unimaginably different world that we find ourselves in with so much uncertainty and so many things we cannot control. It is now more important than ever to support each. While there is so much we cannot control we can control how we respond and work together to get through this. We can choose to be kind and reach out and check on people with a phone call or message. We can choose to smile and thank the cashier at the supermarket for the hard work they are doing and their bravery in showing up. We can share resources and food by dropping off supplies and leaving them at the door for those who are in self isolation. We can get through this by focusing on the good we can do and helping each other . Stay safe and spread kindness. We will rise and get through this together

24.01.2022 Opening night happening now until 7:30pm!

23.01.2022 It is such a tough time in the world right now with so much that is out of our control. Whilst we cannot control the storm we can take action to calm ourselves. If you are struggling with anxiety and needing support professional help is available. We are still open and offering appointments online.

22.01.2022 "I felt it shelter to speak to you." Emily Dickinson. One of our main goals is to create a warm, inviting and safe space for our clients. We are very excited and grateful to have some beautiful pieces of art on the walls by the very talented Tahn Parr, creating an even more inviting and beautiful space

22.01.2022 Love this! A gentle reminder that we are all worthy of love and belonging

20.01.2022 Loving the amazing view of the Sandgate Town Hall from our new practice. 19.01.2022 One of my favourite quotes from the Alchemist. Our thoughts and perceptions around how we see ourselves are so important.

18.01.2022 Love this! A great reminder to be kind to ourselves as we grow towards becoming our best selves and embracing our authenticity

15.01.2022 I love the Alchemist it is such an inspiring book about the magic that can happen when we pursue our dreams . The first step is to believe you deserve to achieve those dreams though. That is why the hardest part can be to get over our fear that we are not worthy. You are enough and you deserve to achieve your dreams. Time to start chasing your dreams

15.01.2022 "Sometimes the smallest step in the right direction ends up being the biggest step of your life. Tiptoe if you must, but take the first step."- Naeem Callaway. If you are going through a hard time counselling can help to support you to begin to take those small steps.

14.01.2022 We cant change people but we can put boundaries in place and not spend time with people who bring us down. #psychology #therapy #boundaries #relationshipgoals #healthyrelationships #mindfulness #yoga #selfcare #healthylifestyle #fitness #bbg #depression #anxiety #mentalhealthawareness #mentalhealthmatters #growth #insight #sandgate #shorncliffe

12.01.2022 A great reminder that all feelings come and go. Whatever feeling we are going through will not last forever it will pass. #psychology #therapy #feelings #mindfulness #depression #anxiety #yoga #growth #inspiration #bbg #health #wellness #exercise #sandgate #4017 #shorncliffe #compassion

11.01.2022 If you find yourself worrying a lot and finding it hard to get your worrying thoughts out of your head practicing mindfulness may help. One exercise that I love is a guided imaginary practice of closing your eyes and imaging a stream and then as thoughts pop into your head placing each thought on a leaf and watching the leaves float away down stream. Allowing your distracting thoughts, feelings and urges float away, helps you calm the mind. Our mind can be so full of past regrets and future worries that we never enjoy the current moment. Allow those worries and regrets to float away on a leaf on a stream.

11.01.2022 Loving our new therapy room. #sandgate #shorncliffe #psychology #psychologypractice #therapy #mentalhealth #depression #anxiety #mentalhealthawareness

08.01.2022 Hope that everyone has a fantastic week

08.01.2022 A great animation video by Russ Harris regarding how we can respond effectively to COVID-19. In a time like this it is so important to look after our mental health and wellbeing. Having some practical strategies and tools to help to manage the fears and anxiety we are facing can help give us some guidance regarding how to face COVID-19. Please share this with anyone you think it may help. Take care and stay safe

07.01.2022 Hope everyone managed to stay dry over the weekend! Have a great week

07.01.2022 Love this. A great reminder to embrace who you are

04.01.2022 A great reminder of the power of spreading love and kindness. Lets brighten up the day of everyone we come in contact with

04.01.2022 Hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend! Be kind to yourself and remember that your mistakes don't define you. When we accept that we are not infallible and are compassionate towards ourselves mistakes become learning opportunities. Your mistakes don't define who YOU are.

03.01.2022 Sometimes we can have such high and unrealistic expectations of ourselves. It is so important to give yourself a break

02.01.2022 "Every flower must grow through dirt". Growth can be incredibly challenging, but if we keep pushing through a beautiful transformation can happen. If you are struggling right now hang in there

02.01.2022 Happy Friday everyone! Have a wonderful weekend. We are looking forward to having some time to practice mindfulness in nature this weekend.

02.01.2022 Great video to help introduce children to belly breathing. Breathing exercises can be a great way to calm and ground children.

02.01.2022 A gentle reminder that YOU are enough

01.01.2022 Grateful for beautiful sunsets while I took some time out to exercise on the foreshore. I have found that now more than ever exercise and practicing self care by getting outside into nature is so important. Have a great week everyone and make sure you take some time out for self care
