23.01.2022 This is what I am proud of: When they come just to learn to make paper flowers but BEcome professionals, business owners, colleagues and friends.... Lana started with us from scratch. She always was crafty mum but never monetised her passion. Just 3 weeks of online education... Just around 20 basic flowers templates and video tutorials Just a few personal sessions with me . and she started making MY signature flowers better than me . was I jealous? Nope! I got extremely happy and proud of her, of me and of what I do! . Currently Lana works with me @SydneyPaperFlowers and literally takes my flower orders, makes flowers and send them to my customers on behalf of me And we are looking forward to working together even more closely after quarantine in Australia is over and she is able to fly to Sydney once again to spend a few days in my workshop working at one desk with me . 14.01.2022 What a week it was what a week ahead! . I plan to celebrate my 40th Birthday with 3 new video tutorials here . Now CREPE PEONY freestanding flower... . Video tutorial release on July 9 PRE sale is now on . We created a large crepe paper peony flower (approx 50 cm across) using just 2 rolls of Italian crepe paper it’s unbelievable! All other paper artists use 3-4-5 at least. Some paper florists teach how to make gigantic 60 cm flowers using 6-7 rolls So flowers are too big for newbie florists, too bulky for some of their customers and take too much of this precious crepe paper to order from overseas (it’s Italian) . We always were thrifty here at @PaperProTutorials and teach our students to minimise materials and use what’s handy in the studio. . just 2 rolls of paper for 50 cm flower head needed = super economical flower technic yet full body flower head no any mysterious hard to find plastic bowls inside easy to get (I bet) material for the stem! 06.01.2022 The moving of house and the studio is over. We can start enjoying the new place now . The spring school holidays is over too. Kids are back to school routine. God blessed .
