02.01.2022 To celebrate the NAIDOC week, the kinder childrne have been learning about the aboriginal flag. And in order to help the children get a better learning, our Assistant Manager Rachel took the kinders to make an edible aboriginal flag with Salada. Aboriginal flag is consisted of three colours, black, yellow and red. The symbolic meaning of the flag colours is: Black represents the Aboriginal people of Australia; Yellow circle represents the Sun, the giver of life and protector; Red represents the red earth. To make the salada flag, we used vegemite, tomato sauce and a slice of cheese cut in circle in the middle.
