02.01.2022 To celebrate the NAIDOC week, the kinder childrne have been learning about the aboriginal flag. And in order to help the children get a better learning, our Assistant Manager Rachel took the kinders to make an edible aboriginal flag with Salada. Aboriginal flag is consisted of three colours, black, yellow and red. The symbolic meaning of the flag colours is: Black represents the Aboriginal people of Australia; Yellow circle represents the Sun, the giver of life and protector; Red represents the red earth. To make the salada flag, we used vegemite, tomato sauce and a slice of cheese cut in circle in the middle.

02.01.2022 Affinity Lifelong Learning Centre Senior Pedagogy and Practice Advisor - Dr. Lesley Jones is going to hold a Kinder Information Session on Tuesday 6th October 12.30pm and Wednesday 14th October 7:00pm. The brief sessions will be hosted on Zoom, free of charge and will cover topics like - What will my child learn in a Kindergarten program?... - Has my child missed out on learning opportunities because of COVID-19? - How can I best prepare my child for Primary School?
