19.01.2022 FIRE EVACUATION! Dear families, This morning at 7:23am we did an evacuation from the building due to the fire alarm going off. The alarms were turned off at 7:43 and confirmed there was no fire. Rhodes fire department gave us the all clear and we were able to go back inside at 7:47am ... Thank you to all the families that waited this morning with us and while we were waiting for the all clear. The children were really happy and enjoyed exploring the outdoor grass area where they found 15 snails and some other black and grey bugs! Due to our regular practice drills, the educators were able to handle the situation in a calm and professional matter and the children were well aware of the routine for the drill

17.01.2022 Miss Renee has been working at Papilio Ryde for the past two years as our Centre Director. Prior to that, she was managing one of our sister centres. Miss Renee has over 11 years experience in early childhood education and she holds a Bachelor of Education (Birth - 5 years). Miss Renee is a passionate and dedicated educator as she believes early childhood education is the foundation for children's future learning. Miss Renee also believes that education is about children discovering who they are and educators recognising their curiosty and exploration for self-identy which guides their learning through child-led, teacher initiated and spontanious play opportunities. Miss Renee is not only a great educator but a great manager to her team as she assists them in reaching their personal goals in becoming effective and confident educators.

15.01.2022 !! HAVE YOUR HEARD!? !! We are excited to announce that Papilio Early Learning Ryde will be receiving an upgrade to our outdoor spaces. These works will commence 17 September and are expected to be completed by October 2020. Please be assured we are still following strict COVID-19 protocols with staff, children, families and workers. Our outdoor area is being upgraded to encourage children’s curiosity and active play, and enhance our play environments, We can’t wait to enjoy these spaces!
