22.01.2022 "Our bodies are basically biological machines. Like cars, they don’t work as well if you leave them parked in the garage or the couch for too long. It’s no...t so much about trying to be thin; it’s about keeping our systems running smoothly and efficiently." #ExerciseisMedicine #ExerciseRight See more

17.01.2022 Had the biggest year of my life and come to think of it I can’t think of many days that I didn’t have a sandwich. Of course, we owe it to ourselves to eat t...he best we can but ’ . Instead of labelling a food as bad as people love to do these days. Maybe try to identify things like fast food as delicious amazing foods that just don’t really contain many nutrients for their calorie value. One hot day doesn’t make a Summer and I wish fitness professionals would be more transparent with their behind the scenes binging, indulgences and treats. Eating like a saint is often short lived. Unless the thought of plain chicken and broccoli sends a rush of blood to your genitals I’d focus on making your diet the best it can possibly be... ... without becoming a restrictive penis dieting ball bag Tupperware wielding wanker. 14.01.2022 You can’t please everyone, so it’s not worth trying. You can’t be good all the time, so don’t expect to be. Then really, the good can’t be the good withou...t the bad. Worse things happen to better people. You can’t control what happens to you but you can control how you feel about it. I think that a lot of issues with mental health can arise from expectations, comparing your behind the scenes to someone else’s social media highlight reel. Comparing your worst physique to someone’s airbrushed peak photoshoot after 12 weeks on poverty calories and cardio. Our brains and bodies are more primitive than we’d like to believe, our society and technology continues to evolve far faster than our DNA can. Comparison is the thief of joy, just worry about yourself and your own trajectory. Don’t follow cocks on Instagram. Having problems is better than having no problems. You don’t need to have had a breakdown to reach out to a therapist for a talk. Also, check in with your mates who seem a bit off and even more with the mates who seem like they’re fine. I haven’t spoken about mental health in a while because I’m 10/10 right now and it occurred to me this morning it’s still a conversation to be had on a more frequent basis. So, in essence. Worry about you, not someone you’ve never met and make a stupid comparison where you’ll ultimately be left deflated. Then check in on the people around you, it could mean more to them than you could ever imagine. #mentalwealth James See more

02.01.2022 Ever wondered what type of exercise is best to manage your weight? Well, a new large-scale study of almost 1.7 million people found that combining aerobic exerc...ises (like swimming or jogging) and resistance training (like bodyweight exercises or gym-based programs) was best for sustained weight management. The researchers found that those who did either aerobic or resistance training only were still less likely to be obese than those who were inactive, but a combination of two was the most effective! The takeaway? Make sure you mix up your weekly exercise to make sure you're getting the best of both worlds. Aim for at least 150 minutes of moderate intensity physical activity and at least two strength sessions each week. #ExerciseRight
