23.01.2022 Finally drought is over. Punjab strikers are trying hard to build up a strong side currently with some new faces in. Moreover, today's win against Melbourne Green Stars will be a confidence booster as strikers chased 192 with the help of record 3rd wicket partnership between Gugu and Guri...Gugu with his orthodox drives made 48 and Guri on other side was real entertainer..he made unbeaten 88 with 6 sixex..

23.01.2022 -it's always good to receive the feedback how players feel after the win or lose..so here's couple of highlighted points which we need to put extra effort in coming games..Punjab strikers management is highly appreciated Sukhvir (Billa Paji) for brought the common issues.. 1.first of all i agreed that we need to work hard.. 2.however at the same time, seniors have to take few intiatives to sharpen those abilities or skills exists in our young players.. 3. we should concentrat...e on improving our game plan and strategies.. There is no doubt that each individual in our team plays with his heart ...i cant see anyone in our team who does not take things serious enough....everybody deserve an appreciation in this team... 4.Moreover game plans and strategies cant be made on bloody whatsapp..those must be made on the field 5.each player should take captain's instructions and suggestions into consideration and stop argueing on tiny issues. for example as a player summit has a class on his side..i fully respect him not only as a player but also good human being ... as a team player he might need to work bit more..i still remember few moments of last few match where i felt embarrased when gugu tried to discuss couple of blunders ( running between the wickets) made by summit veer but end up argueing in front of every team member...i know sometimes shit happens ..but we as a team dont expect that from our seniors ..we are more than a family on ground as we spend valuable sunday with each other..all suggestions and feedback given by our captain and other members should be taken positively not as a personnal grudge..i am looking forward to see our seniors to lead us ( junoirs) with their experiences,skills etc and eventually build a "good team " and we will be proud members of that.... My humble request to all my team members not to feel offended by this statement...i only started to play cricket after 8-10 years because of three reasons i.e. jasvinder veer , amarjot and last punjab strikers.... 10.01.2022 Good win today by Strikers. After loosing toss , batting first Punjab strikers put on a big total of 192/3 in 20 overs. Impressive start by openers Nav and Sumit. Nav played very aggressively and sensibly reaching 108 in 61 balls. After loosing Sumit , Gugu and Naeem supported nav at the crease building good partnerships along with Goldy who hit big sixes at the end of innings. Northern Strikers made good start loosing no wicket in first 6 overs. Gugu made a breakthrough in ...7th over but they kept on playing aggressive cricket hitting 4s and 6s. Jass bowled good overs in the middle which put pressure back on the opposition resulting in fall of wickets at regular intervals. Good catch by Lovely at the boundary and a quick thinking runout by Gurukaranveer and unbelievable catch by vicky, put the opposite side on back foot . Northern strikers all out on 152. 08.01.2022 Punjab strikers has started their campaign in CCL with a winning note. In today's thriller, Strikers crushed Victorian Eagles by 5 wickets. Strikers won the toss and elected to field . Bowlers took no time take 3 important in just 5 overs . However, Eagles were able to put a competitive total of 156 on board. In Punjab strikers innings, Navtej continued his astonishing form and he even hit 5 sixes in an over which was very exciting to watch. 07.01.2022 Good effort lads.. WE won the toss and decided to have a field first. which is quite good decision but didn't work well for Strikers.. open the ball with Paras and Nav.. Catches win matches great quote from Sourav Ganguly Official..we drop 6-7 catches through out the whole match which matters a lot in t20 game.. but we take positive and leave the negative behind.. restricted them on 142 on board..... we all appreciate the hard work Lovely Bhagtana put in his wicket keeping,once again awesome fielding from our johnty Rhodes Jass Baria and Gurjinder Sandhu Very sensible captaincy and fielding position from Gugu Zaildar and Jasvinder Gill. Chasing 143 in 20 overs without our star batsmen Kabir Abrol, bholu went for duck and Sukhvir Singh came in and bat very calmly with Navtez Singh, we were 42 for 1 in 10 overs, required run rate climbing very quick as we need some big shots after all of that big cameo in the end from Gagan.. we lost the quick wickets including Gurinder KhindaGuri,Gugu,jasvinder and so on... 03.01.2022 Punjab strikers firmed up there upper hand on Melbourne heros,after they defeated Melbourne heros by 144 runs on Sunday evening. Punjab strikers were powered by quick fire 184 not out from their opening batsmen Nav.. After that finishing touches were applied by captain Jas by taking 4 wickets in 2 overs,ended up 4 fa 3.. Sumit opened up thereafter improvised on occasions to pick up boundaries,he played the drives,lofted straight shots including some ramp shot.. Punjab strike...rs added 56 in there first 5 overs. 70 in next five.. Gugu made 8 in. 3 balls including 2 rapid fire boundaries so in 15 overs 174-2 Nav and Gagan still on crease.. We end up 277 in 20 overs.. Finishing with 184* including 12 fours and 17 sixes and Sukhvir 5*.. Chasing were not too bad they were on 31 in first 3 overs losing none of wicket. Opening the Bowling with Gagan and paras.. Paras took 1st wicket.. Sukhvir bowled only 3 overs after he took 2 wickets including last one with clean bowled. Stumps were flown everywhere.. First change with Jas and nikku Nikku bowled quiet well with most experienced bowler of our team jas.. We saw some extremely good catching skills from our Sidhu saab (Guri)..he even bowled 2 overs.. Vicky Brar bowled one over which conceded only 1 run and encourage the lads throughout the whole game.. On field Captaincy and fielding position were on spot by our senior Sumit.. Lovely firmly grabbing some Wicket keeping skills..we would like to see him as a full timer wicket keeper.. Last Sumit bowled one over which surprised the batsmen with the carrum ball and dossra... Bali veer is always there to support #Punjabstrikers, whole Punjab strikers management is greatly appreciate the work he do for team..
