25.01.2022 A sweet Silky Oak piano stool. Rescued from a roadside clean-up. Completely knocked apart and reglued...then refinished. 22.01.2022 Bought this framed pictures many years ago. It's a hand coloured photograph from WW1 in a Silky Oak frame. The guy I bought it from told me that it was a photo of two brothers from Brisbane. He was told only one came back after the War. He had written down the names somewhere but had since lost it. 07.01.2022 A pair of British 18 Pounder Artillery Shellcases from France. One marked Verdun...the other Ypres. Very fine examples of Trench Art. These possibly made just after 1918 as battlefield souvenirs. Taken to the Dutch East Indies (Java) by expatriate Europeans between WW1 and WW2.
