03.01.2022 As you may have already seen due to the current Covid outbreak in the northern suburbs the Premier today announced that there would be a tightening of current restrictions for the next two weeks, this means that the amount allowed in the church for services has drastically dropped. After discussions between the staff and Church Council, it has been decided that we will for the next two weeks close the church. We will return to church online, playgroup, and youth group has bee...n canceled and small groups are to return to video communications until the government informs us that the new restrictions have been eased. Team Night and Working Bee have also been canceled. This may seem like a drastic measure but today we were also informed that a school on our street has also been closed for a deep clean and we feel as staff and council that the best way to look after and keep our congregation safe is to close the church. Please continue to pray for our congregation who are impacted by this current outbreak both physically or mentally and for the congregation who were planning to travel and have had to change plans once again. Please also pray for our neighborhood, that this outbreak will be contained quickly, and we can return to life as we knew it again soon. Blessings The PGUC team See more
