21.01.2022 Brand Colours & ‘Staying On Brand’ is something I know a lot of you who DIY your biz’ socials struggle with. ‘Is it the right blue; does it match your logo? How do I know if it’s the right one? Does it even matter?!’ Yes, it matters! And staying on brand is an incredibly important part of building your brand awareness online.... You want your customers to see your posts and think ‘oh that’s Bridgewater Builders Cairns red’ or ‘that’s Easylift Garage Doors blue!’ *cough shameless client plug* Here’s one way to create your own Brand Colour Palette if you don’t have one as part of your Brand Guide - If you don’t have a Brand Guide or know what one is, ask away! If you are using Canva you can upload your logo and then use the eye dropper tool to ‘pick up colours’ from your logo (or any other image) and create a brand palette that stays saved within the app! And this isn’t the kinda page where I spew online coachy/ mindset things #nohate But let’s just say my equilibrium is a little off when it comes to gentle words of encouragement and catchy reminders about how good biz life is... 11.01.2022 Trying to remember to take it all in. The highs, the lows, the in between of being a business owner. This week has been a lot! Like ALLLLLOTTTT, and I really struggle to slow down and appreciate how far I’ve come in 3 very short years! So much to celebrate, so much to show you, so much to announce that I don’t even know where to start or how to do/say it all. ... I’m bursting at the seams with pride and excitement and fear, but said to a friend yesterday ‘f*ck fear; imma do it anyway’ and that’s basically how I live. I just decide to do things, then do them. I work the rest out as I go, and so far, it’s worked out ok for me so why stop now. So, Here’s to the next 1/4 of this FY, coz that’s basically how I calculate time now. See more
