HOWEVER we take responsibility, in accordance with the law and our civic duty, to practice social distancing and not be closer than 1.5 metres from another per...son, wash our hands and practice good hand hygiene. We ask that our clients return the favour and ensure that they too exercise their civic responsibilities and advise ASAP if any member of the business or household is displaying ANY symptoms of COVID-19 - we can always reschedule you for a later time. There is no penalty for late cancellation - and we would prefer a little inconvenience in order to maintain the health & safety of our team. Thank you for your understanding & support.

21.01.2022 With the release of Victoria's roadmap for reopening in Metro Melbourne, we have had a good look at how restrictions will be eased for our business - and how soon we can return to looking after our clients. In accordance with the guidelines released we are still ONLY permitted to undertake critical repairs to residential premises, where required for emergency or safety UNTIL THE IMPLEMENTATION OF STEP 3. We move to Step 3 of the roadmap on 26 October 2020 - but only if Victo...ria has reached a 14 day average of <5 new cases. We had hoped to return to work sooner but, in the meantime, if you need us for critical emergency/safety work, we are still here for you. Take care everyone. https://www.vic.gov.au/industry-restrictions-roadmap-metro-

09.01.2022 We are always grateful to those who take the time to refer family & friends & members of local FB groups to our business. In recent days we have had a number of referrals from the The Golden Triangle Residents Group. We are not a member of this group (as we dont reside within its boundaries) so cant thank those individuals directly. Instead we want to acknowledge via our FB page that we are grateful to all those who thoughtfully referred us.... We are very lucky to live & work in such a lovely community.

08.01.2022 Today is International Friendship Day. In 2020 - the year that just keeps on giving - it is more important than ever to focus on the people that are important in our lives.

06.01.2022 How to stop your glasses fogging up when wearing a mask Heres one of the more authoritative suggestions, which was published in the Annals of The Royal College of Surgeons of England. Authors Sheraz Shafi Malik and Shahbaz Shafi Malik noted theatre staff who wore glasses found their lenses would mist up when wearing a face mask.... The answer? "Immediately before wearing a face mask, wash the spectacles with soapy water and shake off the excess," they wrote. "Then, let the spectacles air dry or gently dry off the lenses with a soft tissue before putting them back on. Now the spectacle lenses should not mist up when the face mask is worn"

05.01.2022 To all mothers, daughters, sisters & wives we celebrate you every day, but especially today, International Womens Day. P.S. (for those wondering) International Mens Day is 19th November

05.01.2022 Very pleased that Victoria's infection numbers are coming down, and looking forward to returning to work at the end of October How are you filling in the lockdown hours? We're doing our own home maintenance whilst we can - a bit of (long overdue) painting.

02.01.2022 NO MASKS IN REDCYCLE BINS A friendly reminder to everyone that facemasks are not a material we are able to REDcycle. Any REDcycle bins found with masks in them ...will mean that whole bag of material will have to be discarded, as none of our manufacturing partners are able to process these. Please let your friends and family know :)

02.01.2022 Attention Victorian household gardeners Fruit netting is commonly used by household gardeners to protect their trees and fruit from hungry wildlife. Netting... with a large mesh size is more likely to entangle birds, possums or flying foxes. Their subsequent struggling to free themselves may cause deep cuts and strangulation, often leading to death. From 1 September 2021, any netting used to protect household fruit-trees, vegetable gardens, or other fruiting plants must have a mesh size, when at full stretch, of no greater than 5mm x 5mm. This is a directive from Agriculture Victoria. If you are looking to purchase netting this year, it is highly recommended that you buy netting that meets these requirements for this harvest season. Not only will this protect our wildlife, but it will mean that you don’t need to replace non-compliant netting next year. Don’t forget that old netting, when discarded, can still become an entanglement risk. It helps to place old netting into a strong biodegradable bag before putting into landfill. 01.01.2022 Stay safe everyone, and remember now is NOT the time to clear out your gutters - FAR TOO DANGEROUS! Your health & wellbeing outweighs any water ingress. Gutter clearing is a dry weather activity and climbing a ladder is ONLY for those capable & use to this activity.
