24.01.2022 We all had a lovely time at the tennis day last month. Thank you to everyone who came along and had a go. It was comforting to see I wasn't the only one whose tennis skills were a bit rusty to say the very least! The courts played better than expected - not competition standard but good for a hit. We have now installed a net on the front court so please feel free to come up and play whenever you want.

21.01.2022 Big thank you to Natalie and David from Australia Post Yankalilla for nominating the Parawa Progress Association for a grant. We used the money to buy a brand new Fridge!

21.01.2022 Not the sort of bird we usually see sitting on the farm gate at Parawa!!

20.01.2022 The Parawa Christmas party is fast approaching - it's this Friday! So get the drinks, food, gift for kids etc organized. Going to be a hot one, but we will crank up the new supa doopa air conditioner and stay lovely and cool! Still not sure about the bouncy castle. Will let you know Thursday, depends on what the wind is doing. See you up there!

19.01.2022 Due to the COVID restrictions starting again we have had to cancel the Garage Sale for this Sunday 22nd. As soon as we get the all clear we will get it up and running asap.

15.01.2022 Due to the ongoing COVID-19 restrictions and the difficulty for the Parawa Progress Association to comply with regulations it has been decided to stop outside bookings for hall hire until it is resolved. Camping is still possible provided social distancing, hand washing etc is maintained. Please note only a few sites are available as the area arouund the hall is quite small. Also note there is no power available and camp fires are strictly forbidden.

14.01.2022 On Sunday 22 November between 9.30am - 3.00pm the Parawa Progress Association will be holding a Garage Sale at the Hall, 1541 Range Road Parawa. We will have plants, clothing, tools, toys and much more. Come on up and get yourself some bargains! Stall holders are welcome. Please contact Erica 0407048696 for details.

13.01.2022 We welcome campers at the Parawa Hall, but please note camp fires are not allowed. To help with the upkeep of the grounds and toilet block we ask for a $5.00 donation per day/night, a donation box is situated in front of the toilet block. COVID-19 restrictions still apply in SA , so please maintain social distancing as per the guidelines.

03.01.2022 On Saturday 8 February the Parawa Progress Association in conjunction with the Parawa Tennis Club is holding a tennis afternoon in memory of Jan Philp, who as we know was a keen player. Start time of 2.00pm with a byo barbeque afterwards in the early evening. Tea and coffee will be provided, if you are after something a bit stronger please bring it along! Come and have a go - the courts aren't in the best of condition, but it will be a fun afternoon. Even if you don't want t...o play, come up and cheer the brave ones on! If it looks like the weather will be too hot we will postpone, but I will let you know a bit closer to the day.

03.01.2022 Parawa is living up to it's reputation as one of the wettest places in the state! Here on Bollaparudda Road I have taken a total of 100mm out of the rain gauge since last Friday!
