18.01.2022 Hi again, If your new around here I'm Morgan, salon owner & beauty therapist. I wanted to walk down memory lane with you. You see, my journey started back in 2015 when I found myself unemployed. The couple I was working for suddenly closed their beauty salon. I was shocked and shattered. My clients asked what I was going to do, truth is, I didn't even know. ... I was offered an amazing opportunity to work inside a Hairdressing Salon above my previous work place. I was terrified, I knew nothing about how to run a successful business. Now, I liken business to running. Just make sure your feet are moving, one foot in front of the other. Running apps are like accounting software which compares data so you know how your tracking and you can reflect on previous runs and set goals to better your next one. I am so excited to announce that I will be joining the PTB team as a Spray Tanner in the lead up to Summer I’m currently working towards my Diploma of Beauty and Spa Practice, which I will be completing next year... Some of you may have seen me running around the salon, following Morgan & Lauren around in my bright yellow uniform, while learning the ins and outs of the salon for my industry placement a couple months ago In my spare time, you’ll find me wandering around the city exploring my favourite gardens and parks with my friends and family I’m so grateful to able to come back into the salon as a member of the team and to get to know all of you a little bit better very soon

12.01.2022 WORKSHOP || Last night we held our Spring Makeup event. We made gin cocktails in reusable takehome glasses to reduce the environmental impact of the event We nibbled on skin loving platters of celery, carrots, hummus, crackers, cheese, meats, grapes, berries, bliss balls and dark chocolate to reward the brain... We learnt how to use all the @ecotan makeup brushes, where to apply eye shadow, how to apply eye liner to open the eyes, how to contour the face and had lots of fun with blushes and highlighters, we learnt how to not overline the lips and girls did you know mascara should be replaced every 3 months ... Most of all, we connected, laughed, shared had fun, and took time out for self care for our selves and held space for others Our next event will be the Christmas & Launch Party!!
