21.01.2022 Then it was time for 4 & 3 matches our Captain Tommy Dobosch & Alex Robertson also started well but unfortunately, it just wasn't Alex's day losing his match and Tommy had a very hard fought and vital squared match

20.01.2022 Sunday Morning and a nervous and anxious A Grade team were at The Colonial Golf Club to play their final against Tamborine Mt. whilst our little brothers in C Grade were just as nervous and anxious at Coolangatta Tweed Golf Club for their Final against Emerald Lakes. They were both out to bring home the pennant for The Club at Parkwood Village and team sponsors Pinnacle Wealth Solutions

19.01.2022 Heres our final round wrap up from last Sunday where all 3 Grades played Canungra and we had 1 grade with a must win, 1 grade needing a minimum of a draw and 1 wanting to continue their winning way into the final. A Grade had another Great win 4&2 making it 4 from 4 with another strong showing from Tommy Dobosch, Karl Mariu, Gary Dowding & Kevin Jenkinson all having great wins. Unlucky losers were Neill Smith & Luke Feltis. Bring on the Grand Final next Sunday B Grade who ne...eded a draw were extremely unlucky meeting an inform Canungra B Grade team and with most of us giving away 3 to 4 and even 5 shots we had our work cut out for us. Unfortunately we werent able to pull of that draw and when down 4&2. I would like to thank all the team for their efforts this year and say bring on next year. C Grade had the toughest odds to overcome and even Mathew Wallace might of held himself back on placing a bet (probably not) that they could pull off a 4.5 to 1.5 win to make it to the Grand Final. The Boys also had it tough giving away plenty of shots as well. Our C Grade team went out full of confidence and brought home a massive 5 wins by Captain Darren Davey, Mathew Wallace, Glen Ives, Andrew Guthrie & Steve Fisk & an unfortunate loss was by Rob Casey who was giving away pently of shots to rocket themselves into that Grand Final next Sunday.

18.01.2022 Results for Round 2 at Coolangatta Tweed Heads Golf Club Unfortunately, not good news for Round 2 last week with A grade going down 4 & 2, wins to Alex Robertson & Anthony Sams. The rest of the team fought hard but just couldn't get across the line. B Grade coming of Round 1's win looked like they were ready for another win this week. But alas it wasn't to be going down to the Cooly team 4 & 2. It was a tight match despite the end result with 2 matches Squared (Darren Davey &... Glen Ives) and another strong win by Patrick Stephens. C Grade, Now here's the story of the day, our very own Andrew Guthrie was in a daze for a while seeing birdies and eagles everywhere after being struck in the "fore" head by a golf ball from a Cooly team member in the group behind as his group was leaving the green. Not sure whether they were hinting on the slow play or not . In true, The Club at Parkwood Village style Andrew Guthrie prevailed for a 2 & 1 win. Wins also to Ken Torrington & Tony Beardmore kept the C graders in the match right until the end. The boys ended up with a Squared match 3 & 3. Next Round we are off to face Sanctuary Cove Country Club for the return match at The Pines Golf Course Sanctuary Cove

16.01.2022 Then it was time for the 2 & 1 matches of Gary Dowding & Karl Mariu, Gary just wasn't able to keep his unbeaten record going and lost 4&3 and Karl fought all the way taking a 1 up lead into the last hole and needed to half the 18th or even win it to hold onto the win. Karl halved the 18th with an 8-10 foot putt to win his match.

14.01.2022 Well, were off and running in the 2019 Gold Coast District Golf Association Interclub Pennant season and the boys had a great trial hit out last Sunday morning. The usual suspects were there and a few new faces. This year's teams are looking strong and A Grade will be out to defend their title again. We have some really great places to play this year facing teams from Southport Golf Club, Coolangatta Tweed Heads Golf Club & Sanctuary Cove Country Club We would like to thank Pinnacle Wealth Solutions Tony Beardmore and Tracy Buckler for their continued support sponsoring the teams again this year.

13.01.2022 On Friday 5th July our A, B & C grade squads will be gathered for a quick get together and presentation of this years team shirt at 5:30pm at The Club at Parkwood Village, come down and wish the teams all the best for the 2019 Interclub Season.

13.01.2022 Well, we had our first hit out on Sunday against Sanctuary Cove Country Club in tuff conditions after the current rain that we've all been experiencing. All the matches were played in great spirit with all teams enjoying some light refreshments and a meal after their matches concluded. A grade lost 5/1 with all matches going to or past the 15th hole and well done to Wayne Mackey who started his year off with a win. B grade had a 4.5/1.5 win and with a strong performance from ...Darren Davey, Glen Ives, Dale Armstrong & Patrick Stephen all chalking up wins. David Sadler fought hard for a squared match and Frank Tamani Johnson only just lost on the 17th hole. Great work boys keep it up this week. C Grade were all so close going down 3.5/2.5. This year the boys are playing a new format and most enjoyed it. Still waiting on seeing them play faster this way though . Wins for Wayne Hatchman, & Paul Bacon with a squared match from Andrew Guthrie kept the C grade team in it all the way. Here are some after-action pics for you. 12.01.2022 Our C Grade Boys fought hard and went down to a strong Emerald Lakes side 4&2 with our one & only Mathew "Chubbs" Wallace to win his game. Andrew Guthrie & Steve Fisk both halved their matches. Our First time Captain Darren Davey with fellow teammates, Kevin Biddle & Glenn Ives all lost their matches. 06.01.2022 Results for Round 3 at The Pines Golf Course Sanctuary Cove. It was a privilege and absolute pleasure to be able to play at The Pines Golf Course Sanctuary Cove for Parkwood Golf Club- Interclub Pennants teams last weekend, sponsored by Pinnacle Wealth Solutions & The Club at Parkwood Village. We had some really tight matches in all grades.... A Grade had a 3-3 squared match, Luke Feltis, Wayne Mackey & Anthony Sams all had wins and the other matches were close losses. B Grade, unfortunately, were outplayed this week and went down 5-1. Dale Armstrong was the sole winner for the team. C Grade also had a 3-3Squared match, Peter Tozer, Kevin Biddle & Rod Thompson all ticked up top-end wins for the team and the team win came down to the last match with Duncan Winzar only needing a half on the 18th hole to get C Grade over the line for another win. This wasn't to be but it was a tight match from the first tee all the way the last green.
