14.01.2022 A wonderful day at North Avoca, the crew worked tirelessly all day to put in 6 modules, setting up the crane at 7am and putting the last bolt in at 6pm. Everyone was super impressed with how the modules fitted neatly together and the level of skill that the installers and Parkwood crew displayed to make it all seamlessly come together lots of compliments for it lots of planning went into it though. The new owners watched on from the neighbor’s property and with friends and family, as they witnessed their dream home finally come together. They were really happy with how the building sits on the site, it complements the character of the street and opens up onto the rear yard to take in the views of the lake and surrounding hills in a 180-degree vista, the large expanses of glazing enhance this no end.

11.01.2022 A perfect installation into Leichhardt. The gods were looking after us, no rain or wind forecasted for Wednesday. 5 modules, 2 levels onto a tight site in the Inner West. The clients had visited us every weekend to confirm the progress and the bespoke nature of their design. Now it was our turn to visit them. The externals were to match the neighbors but inside is a very different story. Acoustic insulated, all external walls totally sealed, double glazing being under the fli...ght path, designed for floodwater and 2-hour fire-rated walls that sit close to boundaries. Finishes to the client's specification with bespoke kitchen, awnings, and privacy screens, tallowwood polished timber floors, and decking to match an earlier time, state of the art lighting. The roads were closed at 4am. Transport, being 5.5m wide loads all needed to be parked up by 5am. At 6am the crane arrived with loads of counterweights and fully dressed by 7:30. We had check weighed all the sections in the yard, we knew the capacity and reach limits for the crane. First lift around 8am and the crane was packing up at 12:30, All locked up all weatherproof. Amazing teamwork by all involved. So now Thursday - a small team of our best tradesmen will be checking and adjusting. Transport braces, lifting eyes and packing to be removed, cappings placed, front post connecting the ground floor to the upper will be fitted, 100-year-old fretwork fitted and balustrades that cross over module joins will be refitter. Module joins will be set tomorrow and the internal painter can start. So there you go blink and you missed the construction at no.14. See more

02.01.2022 5 sections delivered before sunrise and the crane was packing up just before 1:00pm

02.01.2022 The smooth installation of three townhouses in Ettalong Beach. Design by architect Cath Ifield and David Law. We delivered the 10-section structure over 3 weeks, 1 apartment each week. Simpson Group looked after the foundations, garages, site connections, and soon landscaping. The whole building was constructed undercover, with no rain delays, no loss due to theft, no disruption of building teams working on-site, no excess materials left to clutter the site. The apartments should be on the market in a few weeks.
