23.01.2022 With such a great group of people and the perfect hosts, Maria and Paul O'Neill, our Changeover Lunch could not have been better. Thank you Ron Wilson for helping us survive a most unusual year as we look forward to working with Margaret Grummit over the coming year. Many thanks to Mark Kent our MC, who managed to keep us on track (not an easy job). Thanks also to Sam O"connor MP and Cr Ryan Bayldon-Lumsden who helped us celebrate our Rotary Year. Congratulations to Paul O'Neill on receiving the Rotarian of the Year Award and a second Paul Harris Fellows Award. Maria O'Neil received the Nancy Knowles Award for the Rotarian Partner of the Year with Justine Marshall, Julie Musty and Sharyn Taghaode also receiving the Paul Harris Fellows Award for their invaluable contributions.

20.01.2022 The latest Malaria Vaccine Project newsletter is out now: https://bit.ly/37gRfud The Malaria Vaccine Project is a partnership between Rotary District 9640 and t...he Institute for Glycomics that raises funds to support our world-first human clinical trials of a whole parasite blood-stage malaria vaccine. Every year, there are over 200 million cases of malaria globally. Of those, nearly half a million people die from the disease annually. It’s estimated that every 2 minutes, a child dies of malaria. Together we’re fighting to end malaria. To date, well over $1 million has been raised for the Malaria Vaccine Project.
