Dance is the universal language of the world. One in which we all belong. We all have something to share and we all have something to gain from the experience. It is our vision at J.A.D.E.S to create and nurture a warm welcoming and safe environment where students come to explore and discover both dance and themselves. Bubs & Us Session Info (12-18 months & 18 months - 2.5 years) Boys & Girls aged from 12 months to 2.5 years are invited to participate with their chosen support person. (parent, grandparent, brother, sister, etc.) This program is designed to encourage and release their natural instinct to move in a safe and nurturing environment. Letting our imagination run wild, together we explore music, movement, and dramatic play through the use of props, imagery, rhythms and rhyme. A delightful discovery process for all involved and a wonderful introduction to the world of performing arts. This program is 30 minutes duration and is currently available once a week on Tuesday Mornings at 930 am (12-18 months) and 10.15 am (18 months- 2.5 years). Bookings essential. This session is capped at 10 participants $10 per class or 2 classes for $15 Tiaras & Top Hats Info (3 - 5 years) Boys and Girls aged 3 - 5 Years are welcome to participate in this Program. Students will learn and master basic dance technique. Together we explore dance through music, movement, and dramatic play. The use of props, imagery, rhythms and improvisation are key to this process. Each session will consist of foundation level warm ups, stretches technique and skills. In Jazz Classical and Contemporary genres Each session is 45 minutes in duration and is currently available once a week on TUESDAY Mornings at 11am. Bookings Essential. For this session each child is given a tiara or Top hat to use for the duration of the class! This session is capped at 10 participants $12 per class or 2 sessions for $20 Ready OK! (5 - 10 years) Boys and Girls aged 5 -10 years are welcome to participate in this Program. Students will learn and master basic cheer dance technique. Together we explore dance through music, movement, and dramatic play. The use of props, imagery, rhythms and improvisation are key to this process. Each session will consist of foundation level warm ups, stretches technique and skills. Each week we will focus on learning a special Cheer, which the students will assist in making up as well as a new skill/trick. We will also learn new Cheer Dance Phrases each week. Lots of fun for children of all abilities. A loud and exciting high energy class for all children! Each session is 45 minutes in duration and is currently available once a week on Tuesdays at 12pm. Bookings Essential. This session is capped at 10 participants $12 per class or 2 sessions for $20 GLEE CLUB (5-10 years) Boys and Girls aged 5 -10 years are welcome to participate in this Program. Students will learn and master basic dance technique. Together we explore dance through music, movement, and dramatic play. The use of props, imagery, rhythms and improvisation are key to this process. Each session will consist of foundation level warm ups, stretches technique and skills in Jazz Classical and Contemporary genres. Each week we will focus on learning a dance from the Hit TV show Glee. Students can expect to learn a wide range of dance skills over the course of these sessions. Lots of fun for children of all abilities. With singing dancing acting and more its all a child needs to explore the wonderful world of the Performing Arts. Each session is 45 minutes in duration and is currently available once a week on Tuesdays at 1pm. Bookings Essential. This session is capped at 10 participants $12 per class or 2 sessions for $20 FUSION BURN (Open Age) recommended from 12 years and over Designed By Jade Humphrey Fusion is a relatively low impact workout with high impact results. Using the Ballet Barre to encourage core stability and optimum posture, Fusion incorporates Classical training methods redesigned with non-dancers in mind. You don’t need to be fit or flexible or have any dance training to participate in this program. Fusion is about establishing core stability, lengthening muscles, creating kinesthetic awareness and forging a strong mind-body connection. All whilst burning calories and of course having fun. Perfect for any age and any ability. Fantastic for those who want to condition their bodies and find a stronger understanding of how to move more efficiently in both dance and everyday life. This class is also great throughout pregnancy and postnatal recovery. Each session is 30 minutes in duration and is currently available once a week on Tuesdays at 7pm. Bookings Essential.
