14.01.2022 And just when I thought 2020 couldn't get any worse. RIP Little "Saffron" only 6 weeks old. Foal Rattles (Pneumonia) took her life today while putting the float on to take her to intensive care with the vet attending. Breeding can be so wonderful but times like this are absolutely shattering. Totally heartbreaking and disheartening. I just can't believe it. Absolute BS. Spend thousands on the right fencing, good feed, good worming regime, every bell and whistle... But I was... unsuccessful in preventing this. I feel so damn stupid. I failed this filly and it hits hard. She was by De Niro and out of a Wolkentanz mare. I had so many plans for her
