24.01.2022 Horseshoe Bend Road Bridge Replacement Works Update UPDATE at 4pm on Mon 21 Dec: Horseshoe Bend Road is now open again The bridge at Thompsons Creek on Hors...eshoe Bend Road has been replaced with a new, wider bridge. The bridge has been widened by 3 metres to 9.6 metres. There's now 1.5-metre shoulders on either side, which will make it much safer for drivers, cyclists and pedestrians. All works are almost complete, and the road will reopen to traffic by Tuesday night at the latest. *Please note, this aerial image was taken prior to the works, but has been included to show the location.
