10.01.2022 After the first time I performed this show for a live audience at Perth Fringe it totally flopped, I went back to my Airbnb stayed up all night and basically rewrote the show, went back the next night scared shitless got onstage and absolutely killed it, the audience were wetting their pants with laughter ...............................Audiences teach you a lot!!!!!!!!!!.............ps the night after that i totally flopped again....LOL...then killed it for the rest of the season..........Clown Life!!!!!!!! https://www.facebook.com/events/314626245960762/

06.01.2022 The thing about creating a clown based theatre show is that until you are there on the stage with a live audience everything you are putting together in that rehearsal room is more or less guess work, its only with an audience that you discover what your show is and where it needs to go, there are certain discoveries that can only be made in the moment with a live audience, we then need to stay alert and sensitive to this magic so that we can take these moments of discovery and put them into the writing of the show and try to repeat them the next night, and so many shows and amazing flops later the show transforms into a culmination of these clown moments discovered with the audience, and some, maybe most of the writing formed in the rehearsal room gets stripped away to make space for the true clown show to emerge onto the stage!!!!!!
