15.01.2022 It is with great excitement that we can announce that we are able to play tennis again at the Epping Tennis Club. There will still be some restrictions to play.... As there is a maximum of 10 players allowed to play at the courts. The booking system that is currently in place will remain. Should you wish to play tennis you MUST contact the secretary on 0412 211 906 or email the secretary on [email protected] providing your name, telephone number and the number of people playing. We will allocate you a court to play on. The main gates will be the only point of entrance to the courts. On the gate is a QR code for contact tracing. Please scan this when you enter. You can use your camera on your phone to scan the code. No download is required. A drop down box will request your details. We only require your full name and telephone number. If you have an old phone you may need to download the QR app but most new camera phones have this inbuilt. Until advised otherwise the courts will remain open for the following: - Casual play singles only maximum two people per court. - One to one tennis coaching (club coach) - Tennis equipment must not be shared - Details of everyone entering a tennis facility must be registered for tracking purposes - All indoor facilities must remain closed including clubhouses/rooms - Please provide your own water, equipment and sanitisers Our Committee members will be going down to the courts daily to clean and ensure that everything is in order. For the benefit of all of the community, please make sure you book a court and adhere to physical distancing and hygiene protocols as required. Stay safe. Epping Tennis Club

04.01.2022 Thursday Morning Ladies Tennis Commencing 26th November 2020 (Thurs) Between 10.00am -12.00pm we will be holding some ladies tennis sessions. 02.01.2022 NOTE TO ALL MEMBERS: We just wanted to keep in touch and let you know what is happening in the club. Until we have further restrictions released we require all members to continue to book the courts before they play.... We have identified over the last few months that many people are attending the courts and bringing friends and family to play with them. Please note that your membership allows you to play at the courts only and does not allow others to play at the club with you. In light of this, and as we want to continue to invite people to play at the courts, one of our members suggested a minimal guest fee for those people who would like to bring a family member or friend to play tennis with. The committee met last night and have decided to adopt a guest fee for any players playing with a financial member. This guest fee will be $5.00 per person. Should you wish to play tennis you MUST contact the secretary on 0412 211 906 or email the secretary on [email protected]. You will need to provide your name, telephone number and the name and telephone number of the person that you are playing with. If the person playing is not a member, please deposit $5.00pp into the following account to cover the players entrance fee prior to contacting the secretary for play. You will be allocated a court to play on. BSB: 063 229 Account: 10155249 Name: Epping Tennis Club Inc It is still imperative that you use the QR code at the gates when you enter. In conjunction with the City of Whittlesea we will be changing the code that we currently use to one that the city of Whittlesea use. It is important that this code is swiped as it will assist us with contact tracing in the event that we have a positive COVID case at the club.
