It needed upgrading. Campbell as we know was on a massive cost cutting exercise to fix the financial mess he inherited from Anna Bligh's Labor Government hence this was not addressed. #MelissaMcMahon has been in office since Nov 2017 and has only just brought it up.. call me cynical, but could there be an el...ection on the horizon? Where has she been since Nov 2017!!! Just like the Methadone clinic on City Road in Beenleigh, missing in action when many of those businesses are struggling; I understand that #melissamcmahon was not even available to meet with the business community to hear their heartache but she does come to us at a cost of close to $ 500,000.00 p.a. 18.01.2022 AS COLUMNIST Peter Gleeson pointed out (C-M, Sep 21), Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk is merrily spending taxpayers’ money promoting her Labor Party and achieving an advantage over the Opposition. The money spent runs into millions of dollars and we have no control over it even though the funds belong to us. The only chance we have to show our resentment is at the ballot box on October 31.... There should be an independent body that vets all government expenditure to ensure funds are spent in the interest of the people and not on promoting a spendthrift premier’s personal objectives. Every dollar borrowed or wasted in selfish causes has to be paid back by taxpayers in the future. WE ARE PAYING FOR THIS RECKLESS HEARTLESS WOMAN'S PLANS

We cannot have these Premiers decimate the economy, devastate families and destroy small business and ALL for personal political gain.... We MUST have checks and balances in place; we cannot have an economy shut down in the manner in which these people have exercised and demonstrated unrestricted power. What we have witnessed is nothing short of economic vandalism. What do you think?

04.01.2022 Good enough for the most powerful man in the world who gets THE BEST Medical advise in The World. Good enough for Trump on the advise of the WH doctor's. Why is it not good enough for us? ... We need a royal commission into this. We need to hold ALL these people to account for vandalising an economy, decimating small business and devastating families, straddling them with debt. The very state is anchored in debt heading to $ 100 billion dollars and these people have not got a clue how to fix it. Their addiction to debt, even drunken sailors would have pulled up.

03.01.2022 I did always reference Palasczuzk as an apprentice at the wheel; her inability to manage a business the size of Queensland has always stood out on stilts and here she has the perfect excuse to hide behind the failings of this Chief Medical Office who has blatantly demonstrated her willingness to do the bidding of this weak Premier. She has herself displayed 2 law's; one for celebrities and one for everyone else. That is not the Australian way, that is what happens in tin-pot dictatorships and where tyranny rules supreme. She ought to resign and hopefully, Queensland will wake up and dump Palasczuzk.

01.01.2022 Sunday Morning I visited the Baptist Community Church, they meet in a hall located on the show grounds @ Beenleigh on James Road. Social distancing in place, I enjoyed the Praise and Worship and the Ministry of the Word. After the Pastor ministered the Word he wanted to lead in a powerful song and asked if anyone in the congregation could play the piano. No response so they went acapella.... I knew the song well, so I headed off, took my seat and proceed to play the piano. I was a touch overwhelmed by the number of people who came up to me, introduced themselves and thanked me for playing the piano. Enjoyed the friendship and was invited by a businessman out to lunch.
