25.01.2022 ***APPLICATIONS OPEN *** REBEL 1 Year Old Bull Arab x... Rebel by name but not by nature! This girl is super sweet and cuddly with everyone she meets. She is incredibly affectionate and lives for attention. If you love large breed dogs, this girl ticks all the boxes! Rebel is very well behaved for such a young dog, but continued training is always recommended and beneficial for both dog and human. Rebel will sit, drop, shake, take food very gently by hand, has pretty good recall and walks beautifully on the lead, except when she sees something exciting when she can be a bit strong! This girl is a dream in the car and loves to go for a drive. She also loves her toys and a game of fetch! Rebel just wants to be with her human. She loves to potter around the garden with her foster carer and chill out on the couch while the humans are watching TV or cooking. Rebel is in care with two resident male dogs who she gets along well with. She has had introductions to some feisty snappy little fluffies and didn't react to them, although she can get very excited on the leash prior to meeting a new doggy friend. Rebel has met cats and livestock, and she is interested in them and will bark if they run. Controlled and slow introductions and interactions would be needed if there are any of these animals within her new home. She would be best suited to a home with older children as she does have times when she is boisterous and could quite easily knock a little one over. Rebel requires a committed family who would be home more often than not (post covid as well) and ensure she gets daily exercise and mental stimulation. She is not suited to farm fencing. 24.01.2022 Ember the Stumpy Tail is on the lookout for her forever home! At only 10 months old, this girl has her whole life ahead of her and loads of potential in an experienced working breed home. Ember is very much a typical cattle dog; intelligent, loyal, loving and tough. Ember LOVES people. She thinks shes small enough to be a lap dog and just wants to cuddle. All. Day. Long! She is also good with other dogs but does play rough so will need a tolerant companion in her new home. ...Shes a bit too much for cats though so wont go to a home with any feline friends. Ember is incredibly smart and requires a lot of mental stimulation to keep her mind occupied. Without the right amount of mental stimulation, she may become destructive and frustrated. She is very smart and her manners have improved 10-fold in the short time she has been in foster care. Further training will ensure she grows into a well balanced and obedient dog. She is also quite active and enjoys a run around and daily exercise. If you think you can offer Ember a great home, please submit an application! 24.01.2022 **Blinky Update** Blinky is doing so well and his family are doing an excellent job of caring for him. He even has a puppy pram so he can join them on walks and get fantastic socialisation while he recovers. From his mum "Blinky is doing great. His open wounds are pretty much all healed up, and he had some staples out the other day. He’s on a bit of sedation as he keeps thrashing around in the cage!" Donations towards Blinky's vet bill have far exceeded our expectations, comi...ng in at an even $2,000 and covering the large bulk of the bill. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU to everyone who donated, shared, commented and liked. We'll leave you with the most adorable Blinky rehab photos ever

22.01.2022 Mumma Cat Crackle is now ready for her happily ever after! This girl is a ex factory cat that was fending for herself and a lovely member of the public reached out to us to take her and her 2 kittens if they could catch them. A few months down the track and lots of hard work from our amazing carer she is ready to go to her forever home. Crackle loves a pat and cuddle, but does take time to warm up to you, she does prefer women too.... She is about 3 years old. We would love to find a companion for Crackle who will be patient and shower her with affection. Microchip 953010004568958 Source number EE100064

21.01.2022 Taz (rear) has just arrived in care and it looks like foster bro Akuma is pretty happy to have a mate Not ready for adoption.

21.01.2022 Have you ever seen anything as heartbreaking? This is Rush, and she will be arriving over the weekend. She is heavily pregnant and terrified. Hopefully we have some happy updates very soon, once she feels safe and comfortable in foster care.

20.01.2022 We should all aim to start our week with as much energy and positivity as these three treasures 3 x adopted PPAR dogs, living the life!

19.01.2022 Moss came to Pawfect Pals as his previous owners were really struggling with his exuberance. He went on trial a couple of times, with very dedicated adopters, but each time he was returned to our care. His foster carer worked hard on his impulse control and hyperactivity, and for six months we patiently waited for the right home to come along. Then we received an enquiry from Naomi at Zoos Victoria about Mosss potential to be a detection dog. We knew he was the dog for the ...job and jumped at the opportunity! Naomi and La Toya went through countless adoption listings looking for a potential cadet, and ended up meeting and assessing about 15 dogs. When they met Moss, it was clear he was THE ONE! All the traits that made Moss unsuitable as a pet, made him perfect as a detection dog. PLUS he had zero prey drive, so they knew he could be trusted with wildlife. We could not be happier with the life this boy is now living. ALL credit goes to his amazing foster carer Katie who refused to give up on this crazy ball of yellow fur. Every day she worked hard to give him the foundation training that would make him the dog he is today. She would constantly say to us he can stay as long as he needs to, until the right people come along. It mustve been challenging but Katie never wained in her dedication to Moss and never complained. From Katie: "Moss stayed with me for around 6 months as he needed some work for his hyperactivity. I can still remember talking to Naomi the first time. I tried to be honest... But I so wanted it to be a possibility! But every thing I said seemed to make Naomi happy! And now hes got an amazing career with the wonderful and talented handlers at Zoos Victoria. To say Im proud is an understatement." THIS IS WHY WE RESCUE!!!!

18.01.2022 "I will just leave my belly here human and if you decide to give it a rub, I wont mind a bit." Teddys foster carer thinks that he could possibly be the SWEETEST cat she has ever had the joy of looking after. Not ready for adoption.

17.01.2022 Beautiful Gus (was Hamish) was adopted in May and today he got to experience his first snowfall! Looks like he had a ball!! Show us your snowpups in the comments!

17.01.2022 *Applications Closed** Want to snuggle? Me too! My names Captain, Im just a pup at 14 months old but I am very intuitive and know when your sad and needing a cuddle. Keeping you warm at night is my speciality as Im an expert spooner, or so Ive been told They say Im a Bull Arab x Staghound, which means Im tall, lanky and have a wirey coat.... I love playing with kids both tiny and big, and I enjoy wrestling with my doggy friends too. Dogs of all sizes are fine but other animals like cats, livestock, horses and chickens seem a bit odd to me and Im told Im a bit too keen to investigate them. I can get a bit nervous at new places with different sounds but once I hear the sound a few times I dont need to talk back to it so much. I would really like to find a home with someone kind and patient as Im a sensitive soul, one with good fences just in case one of those other animals catches my eye, one that can teach me some things because Im still young and learning, and one with someone home lots because I do get lonely otherwise. 16.01.2022 Our Mexican pups had a big day yesterday visiting the vet for their desexing operations. The amazing crew at Lynbrook Vet took the best care of them and Dr Kunal had to be watched closely so none of our greyhound pups were pupnapped, he looks a little smitten here! It's always beneficial for our pups to have that positive experience at the vet especially at such a young age.... Taco (pictured alone) is available for adoption now. Burrito and Nacho have loving homes eagerly awaiting them. These boys are greyhound x and will grow to be 30-35kg and are currently 12 weeks old. Microchip 953010004953095 Source number EE100064

16.01.2022 What do you do when your foster carer accidentally throws the ball on the roof? Fetch a pumpkin to replace it of course Good boy Tucker... we think

16.01.2022 **ON TRIAL** Bez Male 6 months old Mixed breed (perhaps rotti x lab)... Bez is an affectionate 6 month old mix-breed puppy who LOVES to play all day and wants to find a family who love to throw a ball and play tug of war as much as he does. He entered foster care with no obvious training but in a short time has learned sit and go to mat thanks to being extremely food motivated! He has also mastered walking beautifully on a leash and is toilet trained. He is an energetic pup that needs a dog-savvy home that will commit to continuing his training. Bez is delightful when hes getting attention but has a tendency to get a bit naughty when left to his own devices - he is a puppy after all - so needs a home where there is plenty of time for him. He is ok with other dogs if he is introduced gently but is a little unsure of cats. He adores the kids in his current foster home but is sometimes a little exuberant around them so would be unsuited to a home with small kids or those nervous around dogs. Bez loves to play outside and needs a home with a yard or garden. Microchip 956000007392471 Source number EE100064 Link to apply in the comments

15.01.2022 Our Weed Pups (Darcys litter) turned one the other day, and their foster carer Andrea was lucky enough to receive updates from Zuda (was Tussock) and Goose (was Teasel)! Check out their ears If any of the other adopters from this litter are following us, feel free to post a photo in the comments!

14.01.2022 Violet is a gorgeous 9 month old Kelpie who is looking for a dedicated home to help her grow into a good doggy member of society. Unfortunately Violet is very timid and wary of new people, especially men. She needs a COMMITTED and EXPERIENCED owner who has knowledge of fear issues in dogs. Her new person will need to be willing to continue Violets training and work hard to build her confidence. She possesses typical Kelpie traits, being active, loyal and very intelligent. ...She gets along really well with other dogs and is great with children. Violet has sooo much potential and will thrive with the right person. Could that person be you? Microchip: 941000024297773 Source: EE100064

12.01.2022 Anyone else agree it is far too cold to get out of bed today?

12.01.2022 Meet Olivia, one of our new arrivals. She is a 5 year old kelpie x wolfhound and is a total doll! Even though she only arrived last night shes settled right in and made herself at home.... 12.01.2022 Three excited homes for three happy puppies! This week we had Frenchy, Marty and Sandy head off to their forever homes

11.01.2022 Last week poor little 12 week old Blinky had a terrible accident, resulting in a broken tibia and multiple other injuries. He was rushed to the vet by his carer, where the wonderful, incredible, talented, amazing team at @Patterson River Veterinary Centre saved his life and his leg. It was a bit touch and go over the weekend, with fevers, risk of infection and some wound breakdown but our strong little trooper pulled through. He was discharged on Tuesday into the care of his ...new family who will see him through his recovery and rehabilitation. So far he is perky and happy and wondering what all the fuss is about! Even with a very generous discount from our vet (did we mention how awesome they are), the bill is high. We don't like doing this often, but if you have a few dollars to spare this month, we would appreciate it no end If you can't donate, please share or like this post so others may see it. Every bit of your support helps and all donations over $2 are tax deductible. Thank you to Blinky's foster carer who has already managed to raise a significant amount to go towards the vet bill. Thank you to everyone who has already donated to us. And the biggest thank you of all to Patterson River Vet for saving Blinky and for always putting the animals first To donate, head over to our website https://pawfectpals.com.au/donate-donations/

11.01.2022 A few weeks ago we shared a picture of Shera who had just arrived in care. She was in terrible condition, underweight with scars all over her (what looked like cigarette burns). Well she has come a long way in a short time, just have a look at her now And to top off this happy story, her foster carer has decided to officially adopt her in to the family!

11.01.2022 ** GOING ON TRIAL** **APPLICATIONS OPEN ** ... Meet Snap & Pop! Female 6 months These adorable babes are six months old and ready to build a bond with their new family. They started life as strays in a factory before coming to Pawfect Pals with their mum, when a concerned member of the public was able to catch them. We are looking for a home willing to open their hearts to both girls. They will be best in a quiet, patient home with NO children, as they can be quite timid and will take time to warm up to their new person. Snap (medium hair) is the quieter of the two and will take some time to warm up to you. In typical cat fashion she will choose when she wants affection. Pop (short hair) is more affectionate and doesnt mind a cuddle once she trusts you. Both will continue to blossom under the right conditions with lots of love, patience and care. They are indoor only, litter trained, desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flead and wormed. Microchip 953010004374170 Microchip 953010004374185 Source number EE100064

10.01.2022 Meet Camelia aka Cam Short-haired Border Collie x 6 -7 months old... Hi, I am Cam, and Im looking for my forever family. I am a medium-large sized dog with a BIG personality. I love people, other dogs, the great outdoors (in all weather conditions), and a long cuddle with my humans. I am keen and enthusiastic about everything and I like to keep myself busy, problem solving, gardening, learning new things and creating mischief. I have started to learn to: sit, come to my name, walk on the lead and to use my crate but will definitely need a committed family who will continue my education. One day Id love to try some kind of doggy sport like agility or herding, my foster carer said Id probably excel! Ideally I think I would like to live with a family who has another well behaved dog to teach me the ropes, places to run and lots of things for a smart, extraverted and fun loving young dog to do. Im very excitable so children over 8 years old would be best in my new home. Ive never met a cat before but they might be a bit tempting to chase. Looking forward to meeting the one Source: ee100064 Microchip: 956000007318115

10.01.2022 ***ON TRIAL *** Taz Male Around 2yo... Kelpie Meet the lovable larrikin Taz, He is a young and excitable 2 year old Kelpie. When Taz first arrived he was very nervous, easily frightened by loud noises and quick movements but within a few days settled in and began to show his true personality. He can act quite young at times so he will benefit from a firm but fair family. Hes a country boy so hes still getting used to suburban life. Taz gets on well with all the dogs he has met whilst he has been in care with us, and enjoys spending his days with his foster brother. His ideal home would be with another dog. In the house he is well behaved, although at times he wants to play inside but he does enjoy his couch time with the family. He is toilet trained and when its time for bed he spends the night sleeping in his crate in the bedroom with his foster family. Taz is still working on his commands but shows intelligence once he has no distractions. Taz is still very young and can be full of energy at times, so with some ongoing training he will be a fantastic addition to the family. You will fall in love with him once you see how loving and clumsy he is. Microchip 956000012273079 Source number EE100064

08.01.2022 This photo says a million words, a partner of a foster carer, our quiet achievers, without them our carers wouldn't be able to help and save the precious souls that get taken in by them. Our partners sometimes get forgotten, so today we thank them for putting up with our craziness, our pleas to foster this one, or that one, for helping build these animals into the pawfect pet, for supplying hours of support, cuddles and training. This wonderful partner yesterday spent his day... off in the car traveling to meet some of our rescue partners from Rural Outback Animal Respite/Rescue (R.O.A.R) to get Rush, our pregnant cattle dog, into care before she gave birth. He was fantastic, giving us updates all the way and managed to get her home and give her time to settle before she gives birth. Thank you to our partners who sometimes may feel forgotten. Please share and thank your partners in rescue, so they feel loved too :)

07.01.2022 Wed like to send a special thanks to Prime100 for their very generous food donation today. If you havent tried their top quality pet food, we highly recommend it. One of the founders parrot even goes nuts over it. #prime100 #petfood #primepantry #thankyou

06.01.2022 Another new arrival, Bez, is a six month old mixed breed with loads of personality and ENERGY!! Hes currently running amok in his foster home, but lucky hes adorable so hes been forgiven NOT READY FOR ADOPTION, NOT ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS.

05.01.2022 Meet Snap & Pop! These adorable babes are ready to build a bond with their new family. These 2 girls will be best adopted together to a quiet home with no children, as they can be quite timid at times. Snap (long coat) is the quieter of the two and will take some time to warm up to you, in typical cat manner she will choose when she wants affection.... Pop is the more affectionate of the two and doesnt mind a cuddle and will happily purr once she trusts you. These girls are about 5 months old. 04.01.2022 Camelia is the type of dog that really dreams big. While other dogs might find a nice stick to chew on, she gives the task 110% and goes for the whole tree. Ten points for enthusiasm and commitment Available for adoption soon.

04.01.2022 Beautiful Stevie is ready to find her forever home but it has to be PAWFECT! Stevie is a fun-loving, affectionate girl who just loves her people, both big and small. Couch cuddles is high on her list of fave things. She is very intelligent and knows how to sit, stay and has excellent recall. Keeping her mind active with obedience training, trick training and puzzles will be key to keeping Stevie content in her new home. Whilst Stevie is an active dog, she has very mild hip ...dysplasia with some arthritis, so her activity levels need to be managed so she isnt overdoing it. She is on six monthly injections to assist with her joint health, the cost of which is minimal. As much as she loves to play fetch, sadly it is not in her best interest. She still loves going for daily walks though and enjoys a good sniff around. Stevie is getting better with other dogs and cats, however she prefers to keep her toys to herself. She would be best in a home without other animals, or with people who are familiar with resource guarding. Her new owner needs to be experienced with working breeds and firm but fair when it comes to Stevies ongoing training. Someone who is home a lot or can take her to work would be ideal. Can you give Stevie the home she so deserves?? Microchip: 982000410105803 Source: EE100064

04.01.2022 APPLICATIONS CLOSED Hi, I’m Taco! I’m a twelve week old, Greyhound X boy with a happy, sociable nature! I am growing quickly and I will be a big boy when I grow up! I’m an active and playful boy and I enjoy running and playing games with my siblings and foster brothers, but I have a calm and easygoing nature and I am enjoying learning new things, such as walking nicely on a lead. While I’m very sociable with other dogs, I love interacting with my humans, and I am always re...ady for a cuddle! I would like to continue to live with another active dog who will give me confidence and company as I learn about the world. I love running and I think I would love to be a running buddy! With my long legs, I will need plenty of exercise and stimulation through my life to ensure I am healthy and happy. I would love to find a forever home with a family who will include me in their daily lives so that I can spend lots of time with them. Most of all I want to find a family who will love me and I will repay them with lifelong loyalty and love! Microchip: 953010004953095 Source: EE100064 Application via www.pawfectpals.com.au

04.01.2022 ***APPLICATIONS OPEN*** REBEL 2 Years old Bull Arab x... Female Rebel by name but not by nature, she is a super sweet and cuddly girl. She is incredibly affectionate and loving and loves for attention. She is in care with 2 resident male dogs and has had introductions to some feisty snappy little fluffies with no aggression issues although she can get very excited on the leash prior to meetings. Rebel has met cats and livestock, she is interested in them and will bark if they run, controlled introductions and interactions would be needed if there are any of these animals within your home. Rebel just wants to be with her human, she follows her foster carer around the garden, chills on the couch while her humans are watching TV or cooking etc. This girl is a dream in the car and loves to go for a drive. Rebel will sit, drop, shake, take food very gently by hand, has pretty good recall and walks beautifully on the lead except when she sees something exciting when she can be a bit strong. Mostly she is very chilled and affectionate. She would be best suited to a home with older children as she does have times when she is boisterous and could quite easily knock a little one over. Rebel requires a committed loving family who would be home more often than not (post covid as well) to teach her about the finer things in life like chilling. Farm fencing would not suit this girl as she can climb out over it. If you love large breed dogs, this girl ticks the boxes Microchip 956000010505886 Source Number EE100064 Link to apply in comments

04.01.2022 ***APPLICATIONS CLOSED *** Muddy 2 years old Kelpie x... Muddy is a handsome 2 year old Kelpie X. He has basic obedience like sit, however he sometimes forgets his name when very excited!!! Muddy is house trained and has basic walking on a lead sorted, although more practice would certainly help. He can be a little unsure in new environments and with new people but once he knows you he warms up and just wants to be your best friend. He is smart and will need ongoing training to keep that active, intelligent brain engaged. He is a busy boy who given the chance will chase rural stock, so may be better suited to an active suburban family. He has been ok with younger children, however he does forget his manners sometimes and will jump up. So nervous, very young children may not be suitable. Muddy is a great dog. He just needs consistency, training and love. If given these he will be a loyal best friend for life. Link to apply in comments below Microchip 953010003200733 Source number EE100064

04.01.2022 **IN MY FOREVER HOME** Bella 2 yr old female kelpie x blue heeler... Meet Bella, as her name suggests she is simply and truly beautiful. It is impossible to fault this absolute smoocher of a girl, she literally wraps her paws around you and cuddles you. Her brilliant qualities are many, she is great with kids, other dogs, cats, chooks. Walks well on a lead, has good recall, travels well in the car, and understands sit and stay commands. She loves to be inside with you, cuddling and just being part of the family, this is really important for this beautiful girl as she thrives on her family interaction. Bellas only exception is that she wants to be with you, she is not a fan of being left at home alone so Bella would really love a doggy friend and highly preferably a family that she can be with most of the time. Bella is a true joy to be around and really is an exceptional dog who deserves to belong with an exceptional family. Microchip: 953010002757896 Source No EE100064

01.01.2022 *** APPLICATIONS OPEN *** Stunning silver tabby Jessie is ready to find her forever home! Whilst she is wary of people, Jessie will follow her humans around the house, enjoying a bit of a stickybeak! Jessie appreciates the company of other cats and has even taken a liking to the resident dog in her foster home. She would do well in a home where she lives indoors but has safe access outside, such as in a rural setting or cat run. A quiet home would be best, to help build her... trust and confidence around her new humans. Full profile: https://www.petrescue.com.au/listings/819980 Microchip: 953010004562993 Source: EE100064
