23.01.2022 'Always was, always will be' NAIDOC week 2020 is all about "seeing, hearing and learning the First Nations’ 65,000+ year history of this country - which is Aust...ralian history. We want all Australians to celebrate that we have the oldest continuing cultures on the planet and to recognise that our sovereignty was never ceded." We couldn't think of a better way to celebrate NAIDOC week than to welcome back to the National Motor Museum 'Bush Mechanics: the exhibition'. It's based on the incredibly successful ABC Australia TV series developed by PAW Media and Communications in Yuendumu with director David Batty that showed Australia - and the world - the ingenuity of First Nations bush mechanics and their amazing fixes to keep their cars running in Australia's central desert region. 'Bush Mechanics: the exhibition' is back in SA after a national tour that attracted over a million visitors and will be on display at the National Motor Museum daily until late 2021.
