19.01.2022 Hi. I'm Murphy and I'm a 12 year old pug. I live with a friend, a black cat called Hodgie. We tend to ignore each other most of the time, but we get on very well and sometimes we play. I'm always happy to see Hodgie and he me. We need a new home with a loving kind owner who will think of us as their special friend. Hodgie and I would love to be rehomed together, but if our perfect homes are not the same, we'll be fine going out separate ways.... Our owner loves us but is going away and wants to find a loving caring person to look after us for the rest of our lives. I love having humans around me and would love a home with someone who spends most of the day with me. I'm fine left alone, but I do love company. And I quite like other dogs. But I do prefer people! Really my dream would be to belong to one or two adults who perhaps have children visit every now and then as I love children too. Although I'm 12, I'm still pretty perky and love a walk every day. Well actually, I hardly ever walk - I trot and pick up a pretty good pace too, I must say. But the favourite part of my walks is smelling all those amazing smells around the place!! My favourite thing in the world is sleeping - or is it eating? Hm, well I guess it depends. If I've woken up then it's time to eat and if I've just eaten it's time to sleep (haha woof woof). I also love sitting on my human mum's lap and being patted, and playing with my teddy and toy kangaroo. And I adore going to doggy day care each week. Would you like to look after me and maybe my friend Hodgie as well? He's about 8 and is a very loving cat. He sleeps on my owner's bed with her and I sleep on a really comfy bed next to their bed (though I'd be supremely happy if you let me sleep with you too!) I think we'll be a bit bewildered moving to a new home, so please only offer to have one or both of us if you'll spend time helping us settle in and feeling part of your family. Hodgie and I are up to date with all our vaccinations and we're both pretty healthy. My lovely carers at Paws2play are fielding enquiries, so if you think you're up for giving us our final forever home, tell me a little about yourself and send me an email (please no phone calls the team are busy enough) they will get back to those who are best suited to meet me. Some other information: 1. Murphy is deaf 2. He spends all day inside but has a doggy door so can come and go as he pleases 3. Hodgie also uses the doggy door. He likes to be outside but comes in at night and sleeps with his humum. He normally goes out in the early morning again. 4. I tried making Hodgie an indoor only cat but he was miserable. Now that he's free to do as he likes he's much happier. 5. Because Hodgie is an outdoor/indoor cat, I wouldn't want him to live near a busy road. [email protected] Subject: Murphy and/or Hodgie

12.01.2022 Hi, my name is Mishka and I would love to come work on your farm! I’m very smart and fast learner. My mum is a Maremma and my dad is a Sarplannianac. I grew up on a farm for the first 4 months of my life and enjoyed all the space to run around and living with my siblings. My hoomum then brought me to the big noisy city. I love my hoomum but find the noises scary and like to tell her when I hear them. Due to this I can’t live in the suburbs or city anymore. ... I LOVE to go to day care, I have lots of friends there and all the hoomans love me. I also LOVE to go to the puppy park too, so much so that I don’t like to leave! I’m good with big dogs and small dogs, but I just don’t like sharing my food. I really like to go for walks and sniffing all the wonderful things, but I don’t like going near hoomans that I don’t know. But if you take the time to know me, I’m sure we will be best friends. I have lived inside in the city and I’m very well toilet trained, however I do prefer being an outside dog. I love the cold and rain! I am very smart and can do lots of tricks like sit, lay down (that’s my favourite), stay and shake paws. Mum likes me to come when she calls but she doesn’t understand that I have better things to do with my time. I do come when I am ready though (or if there is a really delicious treat and nothing else is more interesting or important). I really, really, really want to work. I am very clever and I know that I can do any job that you want me to do. Chickens are ok (although I’ve only hung out with them when they are in their prison). I even have a friend that is a cat. We have lots of fun together. I’d love to come live with someone who has experience with livestock guardian breeds and knows how to train me to be a great worker.
