25.01.2022 Now that we are back working at Gowrie vet clinic, we have decided to work together with Gundi and the girls to help improve your dogs health. Dental health is very important in dogs and cats but it's something we don't often think to check. That's why Gundi and the team are now offering a free dental check and grade with any grooming with us. Just let us know you would like a dental check when you drop your pet off, and a staff member will check the teeth during the groom. They will then fill out a graded card with information on what you can do to improve you pets teeth. That information card can then be taken to your preferred vet if work needs to be done.

20.01.2022 This little girl is a good example of why dogs still need regular grooming through winter, as you can see, she was so badly matted she had to be clipped very short to make her comfortable again. A dogs coat can easily become very matted and cause pain and skin issues for them when left to grow out over winter. If you wish to keep you dogs coat long through winter they need daily brushing and combing as well as regular baths, conditioning and blowdrying. Feel free to give us a call or text if you would like tips on brushing and combing your dogs. (Sorry its not a very good after photo, she was so happy after and just wouldn't sit still for a photo)

05.01.2022 This is little Hudson in for his first groom, he was a very good boy A puppys first few grooms are very important to build trust and confidence between groomer and puppy. If a puppy has a bad first impression from someone inexperienced it can cause a life long fear of grooming, which can make it dangerous for both dog and groomer. Even booking in for just a bath while puppy is young will help build trust between puppy and groomer.
