22.01.2022 Coronavirus (COVID-19) UPDATE. The World Health Organization has stated, There is no evidence that a dog, cat or any pet can transmit COVID-19. COVID-19 is mainly spread through droplets produced when an infected person coughs, sneezes, or speaks. This is certainly a relief for a Pet Spa. However, in light of this current situation and to protect myself and yourself, I will clean my hands frequently and thoroughly and ask that you do the same prior to entering and leaving Pe...t Spa. I will ask that ALL dogs arrive on leash which is our city council requirement anyway , however, this will be MANDATORY in this current climate as I ask you to abide by the regulations for everyone's care and safety. All cats are to arrive in a crate as per normal policies. I will closely monitor the developments of Coronavirus (COVID-19) and taking every necessary precaution to ensure both our customers and pets are safe always. I ask that your drop off and collections be quick and swift and we minimise our face to face meeting time. Rest assured that my commitment to providing a quality service will be maintained and new appointments and schedules be maintained as best as possible. 19.01.2022 Hi everyone I thought it was about time I shared some very exciting news :) We are moving!! As some clients already know this time last year my Husband Adam and I bought a block of land on Ninth Avenue Jordan Springs (Llandilo) and are currently building a new house there.... Our house is now near completion and we have finally got council approval for a studio next to the house which will become my new grooming salon. The new salon will be a bigger allowing for a proper reception area and being at the front of the property it will mean you will no longer need to walk past my dogs and hopefully it will be less stressful for my dogs not seeing people coming and going all day There will be plenty of off street parking and an undercover porch so no more waiting in the rain for the garage door to open. I understand the new location wont be as convenient for everyone but we did our best when choosing the location to pick something as close as possible to my existing salon, that suited our needs and was fairly simple to find with minimal turns. So what does this mean for you? -Nothing is changing yet -Appointments will still continue at the Werrington County salon for the time being. -You will be given ample notice as to when the new salon will be opening. -follow this page for updates on the build. 17.01.2022 And just like that I have groomed my last dog at the Werrington County salon. The salon is now closed whilst I relocate to Jordan Springs. upon reopening on the 15th SeptremeberI will be operating out of a temporary salon from my garage until the new salon is finished. I am sure however that the wait for the new salon will be worth it and I can't wait for it to be ready to show you all what ive been working towards for the last 18 Months. ... Carissa xx

15.01.2022 Good Evening everyone, I have some exciting news..... I have an official moving date. Pawz and Relax will be relocating to 48 Ninth Avenue Jordan Springs from the 15th September 2020... At this stage it unlikely my new salon will be ready to go so I will be looking at setting up a temporary salon out of the garage at the new house until the new salon is finished. Unfortunately if this is the case I will not be able to groom cats during that time, but will keep everyone updated as to how things are progressing over the coming weeks. I want to thank everyone for all their support and can't wait to show you all what we have been working towards.

14.01.2022 Hey everyone just to clarify I haven't moved yet. All appointments are still at 39 Warburton Cres Werrington County. I will notify everyone and give plenty of notice as to when the new salon will be opening, it will be at least a couple months away id say as it hasn't been started yet.

11.01.2022 Just a reminder that unfortunately cat grooming is currently temporarily unavailable. I am currently working out of my garage which isn't suitable for cat grooming. Its not how I planned things would play out with the move but hopefully the new salon will be ready soon. I will make a post on here as soon as I know when I will be in there and can start booking cats in again.

09.01.2022 UPDATE TIME :) Firstly I want to thank all my clients for bearing with me over the last few weeks, I know I haven't been as responsive as I would like to be and for that I apologise. Adam and I have now moved into our new house, the salon however STILL remains at Warburton Cres as per normal, albeit a bit quieter without my dogs being there ... Construction of the new salon has finally begun. Yay. We only have footings so nothing exciting to show quite yet. I will share photos as things progress. Warburton Cres has now been listed for sale, so there will be a for sale sign in the front yard, please don't be alarmed when you see it though I'm definitly still there working in the salon.

08.01.2022 Exciting News!! After a long hard couple of weeks over the Christmas Break, i have finally moved into my new salon starting tomorrow!!! It still needs some work but is operational.... This means cat grooming is now available again, feel free to send me a message and ill see where i can fit you in. When you arrive you can enter into the waiting room and then press a doorbell on the counter at your appointment time.

07.01.2022 I though everyone might like a little update on the new salon. Progress is slow but we are getting there, the electrical and plumbing rough in were done this week. We have also had the tiling on the front and back porch done. Still a bit to do like internal walls, gyrocking etc but we are getting there.

05.01.2022 Hi everyone sorry I have been a little quiet recently, there has been lots going on in the background so I have been a bit head down, bum up trying to keep up for the last couple of months. CHRISTMAS Can you believe Christmas is less than 6 weeks away, it's sort of crept up on us this year. Appointments are now limited between now and Christmas. I will be putting up available dates over the next couple of days. ... NEW SALON Unfortunately due to delays outside my control, the new salon will most likely not be ready for Christmas. We have had some ridiculous expectations from a very picky private certifier holding us back, with the main issue being we have to complete our new homes landscaping!! Because of this i have decided to aim to open it at the start of the new year. This also gives me the Christmas break to move everything in and set up ready to open fresh in January. This however means cat grooming is still unfortunately unavailable. If you would like to be referred on to someone else for cat grooming until the new salon is finished please contact me and I'll try and put you in touch with another groomer who does cats.

05.01.2022 Just a reminder during these difficult times, If you have an appointment booked i am relying on you to turn up. All appointments are going ahead at this stage, I will contact you if there is any change or if I need to cancel/reschedule for any reason If you cant make an appointment for any reason please just let me know so i can fill your spot with another client or do something else, there is nothing worse than sitting around waiting for someone who has decided not to come ...and hasn’t told you. If you are sick or needing to self isolate please reschedule, no cancellation fees will apply. I am taking all measures to make the salon as safe as possible, all surfaces are disinfected frequently, i am asking drop offs and pick ups to be quick and to please maintain the recommended 1.5m away. Could all dogs please arrive on lead as it is easier to maintain a safe distance when handing over a pet on a lead vs one you are carrying. If we work together we can continue to provide great care for your pets whilst maintaining the safety guidelines. Many thanks Carissa

03.01.2022 After a long hard week, the salon is all moved over and set up in my garage at 48 Ninth Avenue Jordan Springs :) My babies Sherbet and Ice reluctantly were the first to try the new set up to make sure everything worked There is a doorbell near the garage door to press upon arrival. Please park on the driveway, there is normally plenty of room, even with the storage pod that is currently there. Occasionally tradies may be parked there but don't be afraid to park them in whilst you drop off or pick up.

01.01.2022 Its almost time to move Pawz and Relax will close from the 6th September to the 14th September inclusive to allow us time to relocate the salon to our new location at 48 Ninth Avenue Jordan Springs. Currently there is about a 3 week wait for appointments with the next available currently on Tuesday 22nd September.... A temporary salon will be set up in the garage attached to our new house. A doorbell will be located near the garage door in a similar set up to the old salon, upon arriving press the doorbell and ill put up the garage door to allow you inside. Unfortunately due to having to work out of a temporary salon Cat grooming will be unavailable until the new salon is finished. your patience during this busy time is very much appreciated. Carissa xx
