25.01.2022 Client was updating the internal kitchen and moving the kitchen benches so the existing windows needed to be removed, 3 course of bricks needed to be laid to make the windows smaller in height, so thats what we did. The window was changed for a timber folding window with a large sill as a servery. ... 19.01.2022 This aluminium window was the last part of the clients renovation of their bar room. We previously replaced aluminium sliding doors for wooden folding doors that lead into the sand room so this really had to go as well. As this window lead out to the pool and never got opened we talked them into going an oversized door pushed in and fixed as a window.... It really did complement the rest of the timber that was in their bar area and really finished the room off. Doors dont always need to open, in this case here the client wanted something that would compliment the existing folding doors we installed 12 months prior so they decided against the normal profile timber window, and as it didnt need to be operational, we pushed for an oversize fixed door. The benefit to this is creating the feel of a large open space, the view out to the pool is not inhibited with screens or multiple timber sections, just one large piece of 8.38 laminated glass, making the room itself seem larger. 06.01.2022 NOT THE END JUST A CHANGE, we are still operating just with no showroom. Very strange feeling to be closing the showroom and putting everything into storage, it feels like the end of what we worked the past 16 years to build up BUT it is only temporary until the world settles down and things go back to normal.
