07.01.2022 Just a warning about the increase of scam emails. recently there seems to have been an increase of emails pretending to be from legitimate businesses like australia post and major banks. THESE ARE DANGEROUS! please do NOT open any attachments. We have seen these emails do incredible amount to damage to businesses and put people into financial hardship. Witnessing the consequences has been heart crushing. These emails can be identified, look out for these things. - You did NO...T order anything online - You have not made any changes to your bank details - The email states the incorrect bank - The email addresses you as anything other than your name - Look at the email senders address it if is complex its fake call the company from a number from their website NOT the email. Just remember, when in doubt, scope it out. If you have received and opened the email or suspect that you have please follow the following to protect yourself. - Close the emails and call your bank to confirm nothing has changed - Perform a security check on your computer and scan for security breaches - Perform a virus check with a deep / long scan if possible. - Do not reply to the email Remember not ALL scams are after money!
