25.01.2022 Commencing from this Friday there will now be designated Pick Up Points for our Friday Night SAY Patrol Program. If you are a young person or have a young person in your home who would like to attend this program at the club on a Friday, please ensure they are at the designated points nearest to their location at the time listed. There will be no repeat pick-ups. If your location is not on these timetables, please contact the club manager to discuss alternatives. ... Also, please ensure that your child is a registered member of the Kempsey PCYC before sending them this Friday, as we will have to turn away children who are not. If you have any questions regarding this, please contact the club on 6562 8399.

The NSW Government is reviewing the Advocate for Children & Young People Act 2014 and is seeking submissions and survey feedback from children and young people across the state. PCYC NSW has a long standing interest in the work of the ACYP NSW Advocate for Children and Young People and will be providing feedback to the NSW government on their review of the ACPY Act 2014. ... Members of the PCYC Youth Committee have benefited from training conducted by the ACYP over the years. We have also been a partner with ACYP in consulting young people in NSW about their views and concerns during our celebration of Indigenous youth at PCYC Nations of Origin, our annual youth sporting festival. The kids minds are working overtime to design paths for their robots to take, it’s been extra challenging trying to drive them through a course blind and trying to turn the corners at the right time. Today the kids had a complete blast & it just wouldn’t be possible with the support of our community Thank you Lachlan & team for your support!

14.01.2022 Youth Week 2021: Star Jump Challenge! This new fundraising initiative is inspired by 84 year history of the star in PCYC. The Star Jump challenge will run for the 10 days of Youth Week from April 16-24. Money raised will fund a pilot mental health program based on activity, nutrition and building resilience for young people. ... 12.01.2022 The next 3 weeks ahead, leading up to christmas we have a couple of slight changes to our 'December' class timetable. *Tuesday kids Bounce & Boogie Bounce comm...ences slightly earlier * Only one Boogie Bounce class Thursday night - being the busy period and already seeing numbers drop over the last two weeks, I have decided not to do a back to Back Thursday night and just offer the one adult Boogie Bounce class to finish off the year and hoping those regular Thursday 6.45pm bouncers can make the earlier time! If not, then why not come along to our Tuesday night class

11.01.2022 Young people have suffered the most from the economic fallout of Covid-19. School leavers face a 14.5% youth unemployment rate. Entry-level jobs normally filled by young people are no longer available. PCYC NSW recognises the vulnerability of our youth, and that some need extra support. Together with NSW Police Force we are working hard to provide programs that make a real, practical difference. When Harrison took part in the PCYC NSW RISEUP Fit For Work program, school wasn’...t working for him. With the help of PCYC NSW he changed his attitude and put in the effort to get the skills he needed to start his plumbing apprenticeship. He has turned his life around.
