20.01.2022 TWO OF OUR BEST Any volunteer organisation can only operate when sufficient people take up the challenge to meet the demands of the task at hand. At Sailability Bayside, we have those in spades and if I may say so, our crew are some of the best I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Some also go far beyond the expected and are obvious by their passion, energy, reliability, commitment and creativity. We have recognised two such people recently who have all of these qualities, Ian and Paul, and to demonstrate how much we appreciate their efforts over many years, we have with their approval, named newly constructed / refurbished assets in their honour. Well done Ian and Paul, you contribute so much to Sailability Bayside.

16.01.2022 Back up and running at Sailability Bayside with Freddie and Sylvia! Everyone's so delighted to have Sailability back, you can tell by the smiling faces They d...o amazing work introducing disabled people to sailing and helping everyone enjoy our beautiful Bay <3 Darling Point Sailing Squadron

11.01.2022 Thursday 11th February was another splendid day on the water at Manly Harbour with a steady 10 knot breeze for most of the morning. All of our "sailors" enjoyed the experience and are just so happy to be out on the water again. The Covid Plan is working well and while still a little "clunky", we will smooth out those "clunks" as we progress going forward. A huge Thank You to all of our volunteers for your efforts in making this new system work so well and I know it gives you much satisfaction to see the joy it brings at the end of the day.

06.01.2022 Thursday 4th February was our first day sailing for 2021 and under our Covid Safe Plan. Weather was good with a 10Kn breeze all day and some 45 sailors enjoying their first day on the water in a long time. We were all a little rusty to begin with but things started to fall into place and will get better as we adjust to the different method of operation. Looking forward to Monday and fingers crossed, the weather will allow us to go sailing again. Thank you crew for a great day, with a good debrief at the club to finish it off.

06.01.2022 Monday 8th February. Sorry folks, the wind was a little too strong today so we had to cancel. Fingers crossed for Thursday.
