17.01.2022 Look who I shared a lovely afternoon with in Busselton! So wonderful to see the new life Dale and Kevin have built for themselves in paradise (Busso). A short walk to the most pristine beach, a gorgeous new house and they are now working on their plot in the Busso Community garden. I miss them at my Maylands yoga classes but wow, what a wonderful life they have ! #busselton

17.01.2022 View from the shala. We stayed and practiced on floating rafts in a little cove on a vast lake in the Thai jungle. We saw and heard gibbons calling , monkeys making all sorts of commotion and beautiful great hornbills. We didnt get to see the wild elephants and other wild creatures that we we knew were there. Here is what Wikipedia says: The sculpture is circular with relief of ten naked figures, a child, love couple and the old man, life-size, that crouch and twist their bodies around a well which contains water. Strong facial expressions of the figures show the joy of life which alternated rhythmically makes the life cycle. The figures are watching their reflections in the water, while their bodies appea...r to have been frozen in motion. The figures are arranged so that they show to viewer the purpose of the well, i.e., desire for life and joy, which can be seen best in young characters who are hugging and kissing as opposed to the old man who is at the end of his life and looks with grief into the well, a symbol of life.
