23.01.2022 Important information: Child Care Subsidy (CCS) is starting again from 13 July 2020, after the free child care period ends. If you were getting CCS before 6 Apr...il 2020, it will automatically start again as long as you’ve stayed eligible and your enrolment is current and confirmed. If you’re new to child care, you should claim CCS as soon as possible. From 13 July, you’ll pay full fees unless you’re getting CCS. Read our article to find out what steps you need to take before CCS starts again: https://www.servicesaustralia.gov.au//child-care-subsidy-s

18.01.2022 This very relatable article had us giggling and nodding along. There's nothing like a new baby to tempt us to throw resolution to the wind and hunt down the pe...rfect toy for bringing out that first smile or laugh. Until, that is, we find ourselves crippled by yet another inconsiderately hard corner of plastic in the heel on a night time dash to the loo. 'On my first daughter’s very first Christmas I bought her a walking talking Winnie the Pooh. She couldn’t care less. In fact, I think she was a little scared of it... A week later and poor old Pooh Bear was at the bottom of the toy box, forgotten. Bother.' https://letslassothemoon.com///06/things-kids-really-need

18.01.2022 Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk has announced the border with New South Wales will close. As of 1am, Saturday August 8, all visitors will be denied entry except for rare exemptions, and returning Queenslanders will have to pay for 14 days mandatory hotel quarantine. Queensland’s Chief Health Officer has declared all of Victoria, New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory as hotspots. Educators will now not be able to provide care if the family has travelled to thes...e 3 states until the 14 day quarantine has ended. Care cannot be provided for a child who has been in close contact with anyone who has been ordered to self-isolate. With numbers of COVID-19 increasing throughout Australia we are reminded to continue to be vigilant with health and hygiene. The health, safety and welfare of children, families, educators and staff of early childhood education and care services continues to be our key focus. Excursions and outings can continue at this stage with regular review of health, hygiene and safety considerations.

17.01.2022 Dear Families In response to COVID-19, child care is free. This means Centrelink is not currently paying Child Care Subsidy (CCS). If you were getting CCS before 6 April 2020, you won’t need to do anything for it to start again when the free child care period ends.... If you recently started using child care, you should find out about CCS. https://www.servicesaustralia.gov.au/indiv//new-child-care
