25.01.2022 I love my job! I got this beautifully creative book from year 1/2 today. There were some awesome inventions within - this is a great place to invest in masterful minds and ideas!!!! Thank you year 1/2 You made Mr C so proud!!!!

24.01.2022 Old news but last Friday I met the year 4 mascot and I challenged the children to do some writing for me. It has been delightful reading about the adventures of the 102nd Dalmatian of Peak Crossing State School.... I will share some work with you next week when we do an Author In The Spotlight live Facebook review..... Just giving it a crack to see how it goes.

23.01.2022 Imagine being lucky enough to have children in our school with 150 gotchas (got ya doing great things!) This entitles students to our Fun Day! We identified 54 students in our school that met these high behaviour requirements! Great school and OUTSTANDING children!! Love our Peak Crossing Family rules and the excellent behaviour our students show! Thanks to Chappy Hannah for helping us with the celebrations today!

19.01.2022 In my morning walk though classrooms, I saw a spelling lesson taking place. The teacher’s learner data was collected by the children going outside to write on the concrete and explain/ demonstrate their learnings (informal assessment). One of many wonderful things I saw this morning as I visited classes and spoke to children.

The squads operate in the first session of the school day every day and have an enhanced staffing resource clearly focused on bettering reading outcomes for all students. Every student reading every day What can you read at home with your children to help our literacy journey together? Share some ideas below of how you help develop a love of reading with your child! 09.01.2022 We are working with children and our community today to send a collective message that we don’t accept bullying. Bullying is the repeated deliberate targeting of a person by another to intimidate or make the person feel uneasy. It’s not something we want in our Peak Crossing Family!
