24.01.2022 Unfortunately Sue and I could not get to Zambia this year but with help from Thomas Mmumpangwe and his men the grant money we got through Reece Grant has been used to get new bore, solar power and pump, new tank stands, new water lines to both the Primary and Secondary schools, teachers houses and new Rotary funded Toilet block. It also paid for a spring on Nsobe farm to be tapped and the spring water piped down to the accommodation, restaurant and community staff homes. 22.01.2022 We are just completing two research buildings for the UWA Ocean current research Project. One site is at Jurabi Turtle Centre and the other was out at Pt Billie on Ningaloo Station. We camped out at Pt Billie for a week and big thanks to Phil, Josh and Michelle from Exmouth Freight and Logistics who brought in three semi trailer loads of gear and the Franna to Pt Billie. Also Joe from Norcape Handy Hire who did the excavations at both sites, and Simon from WA Alternative Energy who with his team installed the solar systems and Tesla Batteries at both locations. They all had to come down the infamous Ningaloo Station road. 10.01.2022 Long time between Facebook posts for Pebble Beach Constructions. For the last few years we have been working on Defence Projects that we cant share. Here are some photos from the Space Surveillance Telescope Project that we are allowed to show. We worked on the SST from April 2017 till late 2019. We did all sorts of work from the concrete foundations to internal walls, plasterboard and insulation, doors and windows, painting and even cleaning and repainting the actual telescope mounting structure. It was a very interesting and challenging job. #sitzler #exmouthcivil

08.01.2022 Sue and I have been involved with Seeds of Hope Childrens Ministry in Ndola Zambia since 2012. As part of that we have also been supporters of Nsobe Trust Community School about an hour away from Ndola. #reecegrant #nsobecommunityschool Pebble Beach Constructions have got all of our plumbing fixtures and fittings from the Reece Plumbing branch at Rockingham since 2007 and it was the wonderful Michelle at the branch that put us onto the Reece Grant. We put in an application to help Nsobe school get their water situation sorted and we were successful. Reece Grant have given us $19,300 to get a new deep bore installed with a solar pump system, a new tank stand and pipes to the primary and secondary school and all the teachers houses.
