25.01.2022 **Home owners** We haven’t posted this one for a while, so here’s a reminder of the three simple tips that can help you pay off your mortgage sooner??? 1. Pay fortnightly or weekly repayments ie. Instead of paying $1000 a month or $12,000 a year, pay $500 a fortnight which equals to $13,000 a year.... 2. Round up your repayments. If you're paying $507 a fortnight, round it up to $520. 3. Open an offset account linked to your home loan. The amount in this account will offset the amount you owe on your home loan; hence reducing the amount of interest you are charged.
