18.01.2022 One of our stars in the Aged Care team shared this awesome pic with us during the week. The smiles say it all Team member Nerissa explained that since Covid-1...9, she and Janice have had to cut back on social activities and so instead, they take lovely long walks. Janice loves being out and about. Today we thought we would go down to the beach-hut cafe for takeaway coffee but they were closed much to our surprise. Next door they hire buggies out to ride so we thought why not?! We rode to the wharf and back. Well today was definitely a highlight as a support worker. Janice had the best time smiling and laughing the whole time and kept saying cant wait to tell my family what I did. It was truly heart-warming to see her enjoying herself so much.

14.01.2022 THE DAY WE HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR IS HERE!!! We have our Covid Safety plan in place and ..... Wings Wildlife Park & Cafe will be ready to O...PEN AGAIN from 10am, Saturday 20th June (tomorrow). There are a few rules that we will all have to follow: 1. If you are unwell, or are exhibiting Covid like systems, please do not come to the wildlife park or cafe until you are feeling better, as we are not allowed to admit you if you are unwell. 2. Visitor will be limited to government approved social distancing guidelines. This will not be a problem with most of the wildlife park & farm walk is outside. The reptile room & inside dining area will have some number restrictions, however the outside dining area is available too. 3. Personal social distancing will be required. Please observe posters on display. 4. Hand washing hygiene must be practiced. We have hand sanitising points throughout the wildlife park & cafe and soap dispensers for hand washing located at the amenities block. 5. Depending on visitor numbers on the day, Keeper talks may not be conducted in order to minimise the gathering of people in a group. Please feel free to ask our staff any questions that you may have about the wildlife and our animals. We all love a chat! 6. Limited hands-on animals encounters are available but our keepers will insist on social distancing between participants etc. 7. When ordering food and drinks, please place your order, receive your order number and take a seat. Your order will be brought to your table. We are super excited to introduce you our baby alpaca (yet to be named) and our twin baby marmosets. Camping & accommodation is available again. Please remember due to our quarantine regulations, NO PETS are allowed onsite, this includes the wildlife park, farm walk area, camping ground, cabins & accommodation. SEE YOU SOON

05.01.2022 To bring everyone up to date we are open 7 days 9am to 4pm cooking until 2.30pm with all day breakfast and a new menu starting soon. Bookings are highly recomme...nded. We can seat 10 people inside and 10 people outside. If you are having breakfast or lunch we give you 55 minutes on the table and if just coffee and cake then 25 minutes. We ask you please not be late arriving as you have just shortened your time, to sanitize your hands on entry and not to move around the tables. We offer full table service with payments at the table.
