23.01.2022 An inspiration to new bowlers. These two relatively new bowlers played exceptionally well in the first round of the ladies championship pairs at our club on Wednesday and were narrowly defeated. Well done Lyn Gurr and Marilyn Redman.

18.01.2022 The Come and Try Day organised by the Golden Beach Neighbourhood Watch as a great success today. Very well attended with almost 50 people having a "try". Everyone had a great time and there were plenty of prizes and raffles. Thanks to the Sunshine Coast City Council for their support also.

17.01.2022 The Men's and Ladies A Grade Singles Championship finals were played this afternoon. Congratulations to our A Grade Singles Champions, Robyn Schey and John Aitken. Very well done to runners up, Sylvia Chamberlain and Karl Hemetsberger. A large crowd enjoyed two great games.
17.01.2022 The Bistro at the Pelican Waters Bowls Club is opening again for business ! Of course, with the restrictions, things will be a little different for a while, but we are still one of the best places for a meal on the Sunshine Coast. The first day being open will be Thursday 21 May. After that, we will be open from Tuesday to Saturday each week. We will have two sittings each evening: 5.00pm to 6.45pm and 7.00pm to 8.30pm. We are not open for lunch for the moment.... There is a strict limit of 10 people allowed in the club per sitting, so phone bookings are essential. We won't be able to cater for walk-ins. To make a booking, please call the club on 07 5492 1032 after 4.00pm on Tuesday to Saturday. The bar will be open but only to people buying a meal and it is table service only. Payment is by credit card only. The gaming machines and Keno will not be open. We will also be providing take away meals each evening we are open. The menu will be sent out soon. Orders will be by phone only and can be collected at the club at the side door. Payment is by credit card only. When visiting the club, please be sure to observe all social distancing guidelines and all other hygiene guidelines. We are very happy to be open again look forward to seeing you at the club soon !

15.01.2022 Due to Covid-19 controls and laws from the Australian Government, we sadly advise the Pelican Waters Bowls Club is closed from 12pm 23 March 2020 until further notice. All club competitions, social bowls and roll ups are cancelled, and the greens and other facilities of the club are not to be used. All organised tournaments have also been cancelled for the foreseeable future, and the PWBC Winter Carnival has also been cancelled.... We apologise for this significant impact and hope that we will see you again in the future soon. Information concerning Covid-19 is changing everyday and as such the club is monitoring and making decisions accordingly. As there are any further changes, we will let you know. 14.01.2022 After a long break due to Covid, the Bistro will be opening for lunches again from Tuesday 28 July onwards. The Bistro will be open Tuesday - Saturday each week, with lunches being served from 12.00pm. Please come down and enjoy a great lunch and show your support to the club.
