23.01.2022 James from our Venturer leadership team has headed east in his trusty land rover Roy and custom made camper trailer to catch up with his partner who has obtained a teaching post near Wollongong. James has sent in a couple of photos, once of which is quite special as it shows Roy and camper at the Nullarbor roadhousesome may remember another leader from Pelican Point who spent a few days with his land rover there waiting for parts They expect to be away for a couple of yea...rs and we wish them well with life in NSW and we of course expect many photos and postcards... With James away that leaves Tim as our only Venturer leader which with a big Venturer unit is not ideal. The Group is now very keen to talk to any parents (or community members:-) ) who would be able to assist Tim with the Venturers (14 to 18 year olds) as an Adult Helper or Assistant Leader.
