08.01.2022 What’s your favorite season? 1st March is the first day of Autumn. It is our favourite season. It’s still warm but not stinking hot. The wind dies down. The ocean is at its warmest now. We may not get lots of autumn colours but by May there will be some in special places.

06.01.2022 When I was a young pup, I liked late nights and late sleep-ins. I would only get up early to go fishing. Enjoy the sunrise, you have to be kidding. That was then. Now fast forward. I still like the occasional late night, but mostly it’s early mornings for me. I find that nothing better sets me up for a great day than starting it with a good old sunrise. My priorities have changed somewhat as I’ve got older. Every sunrise for me is sacred. One of my favourite sunrise spots i...s the Swan River. This morning I strolled along it’s banks and breathed in the fresh summer morning air, heard the plopping sound of fish jumping and soaked in the peace and solitude. As the sun burst over the Darling Ranges, golden sunlight lit up the shoreline. For me, this time of the day is pure magic. What are you, fowl or owl? #swanriver #sunrise

05.01.2022 There’s nothing like a wild Western Australian beach to awaken the senses. One day we took a stroll along Yallingup Beach and stood in awe breathing and tasting the salty air. Big waves lit up by the sun crashed onto the sandy shoreline and shot up beach. The feeling of bare feet on damp sand and foamy water surging around. The sounds of seagulls and booming waves fill the air. You know you are truly alive when you awaken senses and really see and feel what beautiful things ...are happening around you. #surf #beach #awakenthesenses #senses See more
