A fundraiser raffle has been put together for Brodie to help out financially and some great prizes are on offer. ... If you can spare a few dollars please help out. 25.01.2022 Tomorrow we play our last roster game for the season and last home game prior to the finals series as we host the East Devonport Swans at Pirtek Dial Park. Off the back of a magnificent come back win against the Demons our Under 18s are looking forward to continuing on with their great form. Our Reserves are bolstered with some additional strength as Mitch Hodgetts and Jarrod Watling return to the team. They will lose Connor Bramich as he will make his senior debut for the... club after a best on ground performance last weekend in the twos. Also into the senior side are Jay Van Essen who has missed the majority of the season after a round one injury and Clinton French returns from injury after over a month on the sidelines. Out of the senior team are Randall Hardy and Matt Elliott to injury and Lachlan McKellar (omitted) We do ask that cars brought into the venue are for those that intend on sitting in their vehicle. We are also looking for a scoreboard operator for the senior game, which is the best seat in the house without doubt! If youre able to help out, please contact us via the page! 21.01.2022 We would like to acknowledge the HUGE contribution that Brock Dicker has made to the Penguin Football Club and coastal football after he announced his retirement following the Reserves heartbreaking Grand Final loss on Saturday. One of, if not the most loved player to ever don the Two Blues, ‘BD’ retires with 327 career games to his name, with his 200th Senior game for Penguin playing alongside his St Kilda hero Stephen ‘Tiprat’ Milne a highlight. Immensely loyal, Brock dedic...ated 15 years to the Two Blues, only leaving for a three-year stint to play at his father Adrian’s home club, the Cuprona Bulldogs, with his brothers Ryan and Joel. We thank you for your many years of hard ball gets and hope you enjoy giving the nearly 35-year-old body a spell. Cheers BD! 19.01.2022 The Penguin Football Club are back this weekend for Round 8 NWFL Football following last weeks bye. The senior women will kick the day off for the club at the Devonport Oval against the Magpies. This is the last roster game for the season for the women and its an absolute must win for the girls to keep their finals chances alive as a loss will cement the end of their season. Tayla Marshall up forward will be one of the main ingredients to get the team over the line with her... accurate and strong goal kicking ability that she brings to the side. Good Luck Girls. The under 18s will start things off at the Latrobe Recreation Ground as our men battle off against the Demons. A win for the Two Blues in the game will place them nicely on the ladder in third spot below Devonport and Burnie. Our reserves return to the field for the first time since their first loss of the season against the Magpies and this is an absolute must win for their chances to finish on top of the table. Daniel Oates has been outstanding up forward for the team this year currently sitting in third spot for reserves goal kicking he is closely followed by Jack Weller who has provided plenty of assistance in the forward 50. Connor Bramich will make his long awaited debut for the club following his injury sustained on the eve of the season after a big pre-season and veteran Jarrod Watling will return to the team following his injury that has sidelined him for a month. The Seniors are unchanged following their very narrow loss to Devonport and ready to prove a point on the eve of finals with two games to go. Jack Templeton has been outstanding up forward this season as he sits in third spot for league goal kickers in 2020 and will be looking to add to his tally on Saturday afternoon with some quality ball delivery and usage from the teams Mids. Toby Skenes move to the back line has added some extra speed, flare and experience to the back line in recent weeks and with the likes of Sam Mitchell, Jordan Wood, Will Dau and James King the backs are a sound unit. Liam Viney and Zach Walkers pace have been major strengths for the team with superb delivery and decision making they bring. Reserves 12:30pm Latrobe Recreation Ground Bramich, Degroot, B Dicker, J Dicker, Donovan, Eaton, Edwards-Grey, Gregson, Hardy, Huxtable, Kaine, ONeil, OShea, Oates, Pearson, Schulze, Speglic, Stafford, Thomas, Watling, Weller Under 18s 10:45am Latrobe Recreation Ground Beattie, Blakemore, Bowden, Bugeja, Burns, Callaghan, Cox, Dawkins, F Dick, H Dick, Farrelly, Hull, Ling, McKellar, Murphy, Peach, Shea, Streets, Strickland, Townsend, Walker Senior Women 9:15am Devonport Oval Aitken, Bakes, Bath, Bonney, Chandler, C Duncan, Eade, Gibbons, Hall, Howard, Kerrison, Kotzur, Lynch, Marshall, Mitchell, Parker, Poke, Purton, Revell, Taylor, Wijesingha-Frohmader

18.01.2022 It’s with great pleasure we would like to announce that Michael Marshall will continue on in season 2021 as the Senior Women’s coach. 2020 was a challenging year for Michael, with a shortened season, losing a handful of players and missing out on a finals berth for the first time since the NWFL women’s competition commenced. All is set for a big summer of Pre Season training as the girls and Michael endeavor bounce back and play finals football again in 2021. ...

17.01.2022 We are extremely thrilled to announce that club favourite Nathan ‘Doofy’ Russell will be our Reserves playing coach for the 2021 season! Nathan arrived at Penguin in 2015 after winning an NWFA Senior flag the previous year at Turners Beach. A crafty small forward, Nathan did his best work on either side of the fence of the can bar pocket at the old Pirtek Park, going on to co-captain the Two Blues to the drought breaking 2017 Reserves premiership with a best on ground perform...ance. After taking a back seat last year, playing only a couple of games filling in, Nathan will use his wealth of Senior & Reserves NWFL experience to strive towards taking our Reserves side that one step further in 2021. All the best Nathan, it’s great to have you on board for 2021! #TWOBLUES

17.01.2022 Congratulations to this weeks North West Football League Sea FM Young Player of the Week, Fraser Eaton. We were unaware of this nomination today until we were notified by numerous young ladies and Fraser himself! Fras was outstanding as he returned to the Senior team for the first time since 2018 last weekend at West Park. ... Fraser was best on ground and only got better as the game progressed using his cool head, genuine class and displayed efficient ball usage, finding the ball easier than he does the ladies!! Well done with the nomination Fraser!

15.01.2022 Firstly today we would all like to send a big Happy Birthday to Coach Chris McDonald, we hope you have a relaxing day as we prepare to host the Latrobe Demons at Pirtek Dial Park tomorrow! Due to technical problems at the Advocate Newspaper, teams are not in todays paper, with a bit of luck they will be printed in tomorrows edition. Its our annual Pink Day and Our Lady Blues are coming off a weeks bye and are ready to run back out on the Park to face the Demons. This is ...a must win for our girls to keep their finals hopes alive for season 2020! The Under 18s want to taste victory again after last weekends loss to the Dockers. In a positive game for the lads, not having the breeze in the last term made it very challenging narrowly going down. The undefeated Reserve team had a slow start last week at West Park but found their rhythm in the last term. Daniel Oates was again fantastic up forward with four goals, Veteran Nathan Russell returned to the team and snagged a couple of goals also. Beat on ground performances in the Reserves have seen Zach Walker and James King elevated to the Senior team tomorrow. Joining them will be Aaron Viney as he returns to the Two Blues. Aaron played a handful of games for the Two Blues last season before injury and work commitments forced him out of the team for the year. Returning home to Penguin from interstate and training the house down, Aaron is a sound addition to the team. The other inclusion to the side is Julian Brown as he returns from work commitments. Out of the team are, Will Dau (inj) Michael Edwards-Grey, Lachlan Blakemore and Jack Weller (omit) Looking to bounce back last weeks loss against the powerful Burnie Dockers where we showed plenty of positive signs and energy, including out scoring the Dockers in the second half. Fraser Eaton was super impressive with his best on ground performance, Dylan Bramich out muscled star big man Nick McKenna and Jack Templeton was a shining light up forward again with four goals. The boys will be desperate for the four points tomorrow over the gallant Demons to reclaim second position on the table. Senior Women - 9:15am Aitken, Bakes, Bath, Chandler, Clarke, C Duncan, Eade, Gibbons, Hall, Howard, Kerrison, Kotzur, Lynch, Marshall, Mitchell, Parker, Phillips, Poke, Purton, Revell, Taylor, Wijesingha-Frohmader Under 18s - 10:45am Beattie, Bonner, Bowden, Bugeja, Burns, Callaghan, Clarke, Cox, Dawkins, F Dick, Farrelly, Kemp, Krushka, Ling, McKellar, Murphy, Peach, Shea, Streets, Strickland, Townsend Reserves - 12:30pm Blakemore, Degroot, B Dicker, J Dicker, Edwards-Grey, Gregson, Hardy, Huxtable, Kaine, Kinch, ONeil, OShea, Oates, Pearson, Schulze, Speglic, Stafford, Stones, Talbot, Thomas, Weller

12.01.2022 This Saturday our Lady Blues will have their second last hit out for the Home and Away season as they take on the Ulverstone Robins at the Ulverstone Recreation Ground. The Blues went down to the Robins earlier in the season and redemption is on the line here. Kirby Gibbons, Emily Bath, Lila Wijesingha-Frohmader and Nicole Poke have been in great form and will be looking to deliver another high-performance game following last weekends disappointing loss to the Demons. At th...e Devonport Oval against the Magpies, we have all three games against some quality opposition. Our Under 18 boys had a fantastic win last week, getting back on the winners list with their victory against Latrobe. Led by Captain Ben Callaghan, the boys showed plenty of class against the Demons in wet conditions, with the likes of Brady Clarke, Billy Streets, Harry Cox, Jackson Beattie and Matthew Kemp putting in best on ground performances. The top of the table undefeated reserves will not be complacent knowing the talent Devonport can bring to the field. With the very narrow win last week the team will be wanted to put together a full four quarter performance, that they have been struggling with over the past month to give the team the confidence they know they can have on the eve of the home and away season. The seniors defence will have their hands full containing the forward line of the Magpies, Sammy Mitchell has been sound all year along with Jordan Wood and Will Dau returns to side to add some strength alongside and experience alongside Dylan Bramich. Up forward, Matt Elliott, Chris McDonald and Jack Templeton kicked 7 out of our 10 goals last week and with the likes of Liam Viney, Fraser Eaton and Jonty Lanham looming around the forward half, goals should not be a problem with effective delivery from the midfield. Women 9:30am Ulverstone Recreation Ground Bakes, Bath, Chandler, Clarke, C Duncan, Eade, Gibbons, Hall, Howard, Kerrison, Kotzur, Lynch, Marshall, Mitchell, Parker, Phillips, Poke, Purton, Revell, Taylor, Wijesinga-Frohmader Under 18s 10:45am Devonport Oval Beattie, Blakemore, Bowden, Bugeja, Burns, Callaghan, Clarke, Cox, Dawkins, F Dick, H Dick, Farrelly, Hull, Kemp, Ling, McKellar, Murphy, Peach, Shea, Streets, Townsend Reserves 12:30pm Devonport Oval C.
