21.01.2022 Possibly the most anticipated calf of the season has arrived for us here at Penjobe! This beautiful polled bull calf is the result of a cross we have eagerly been watching and waiting to see the results of. Out of a U2/Pageboy female (pictured in the background) who had outstanding weight for age in a female, coming in at 34mnths weighing 710kg off grass. This is her first calf by Glenlands D Waterhouse, who’s sale stats impressed us in 2018 (21mnths, 940kg, 12/10fats, 5.3IMF). Excited to see how this young one grows out! 08.01.2022 Rounding off the bull purchasing season with a couple of young bulls from Karragarra Droughtmasters Representing some quality, consistent names including Quill (Lazarus/Hatch), I-Spy (Horsham), Fernleigh Grande (Glenlands None Better) and Imparja, these two demonstrated excellent weight for age and are both homozygous polled. They have settled in well and will be taking it easy until January, when they will run with a line of our replacement females Thank you for your help in getting them home safely to us Wayne despite some tricky weather conditions!
