They were staunch to the end against odds uncounted, They fell with their faces to the foe... They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old; Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. 09.01.2022 Hii Everyone! For all of you mamas that are unable to have a photographer at your birth for your Babies Birth Story or Fresh 48, here are some helpful hints for you to take great photos on your phone or with your own camera! Babies Birth Story - If you are wishing to capture the birth, set up your phone on a tripod or table (tripod would be higher and possibly capture more) ask the midwife or partner to frame it. (Hopefully you have bubs in that same position.)... You can screen shot the parts you wish to capture. For the fresh 48 - Take them during the day when there is plenty of window light. TURN OFF the hospital lights! Use the window light only, if you can! Position your baby facing the light coming through the window. Don't shoot towards the window. Shoot with the window to your side or to your back, but be careful not to block the light coming through! Don't photograph aiming up the babies nose. Shoot down, from above or the side of the baby. Get close! Thats where the details are! Fresh skin and tiny fingers and toes are important! Download the Lightroom App on your phone and edit your photos there! Ask your nurse to swaddle the baby for you. NURSES ARE THE BEST SWADDLERS! TAG your expecting mama friends! I wanted to also add: We ALL, professionals and individuals, should be doing our part to help one another in such hard times. Giving advice, lending a helping hand, and doing what is best for one another. This post was not created to gain business, or promote my business in anyway. Just to share a wonderful idea that another photographer had. By adding tips, and taking out some things I wouldn't do personally, was a way for me to reach out and help the expecting mothers/families in my community!

05.01.2022 In light of this true disaster of the fires here in AustraliaI would like to post these photos we took of a Fire Fighter enjoying some well deserved down time! Our Fire Fighters have lost precious time with families, friends and some have even lost their own properties while fighting these fires amongst lost meals and sleepless nights! We have even lost LIVES! The stuff these guys see and deal with I know I could never imagine and yet they go back out and do it day in and day out! True Heroes! My heart goes out to all Emergency Personnel and everyone who is affect by these disastrous fires that are still continuing to burn! Stay safe and look out for each other. 01.01.2022 Hi Everyone! So you see my photos and post but i have not actually introduced myself so here is just a little bit about myself and how Penny Picture Perfect came about. My name is Penny, I am 29 years old, I was born and grew up in western sydney. My hobbies include, photography (obviously hahaa), soccer and exploring. I have a little family of my own with my partner and our soon to be 2yr old daughter Harlee. I have been working in the security industry for 11+years. I alway...s put 110% into my work and I have grown alot thanks to the security industry but it's just not what I am passionate about! This is where photography comes in. My mother has been a professional photographer my whole life so I have always been around cameras, studios, behind the scenes in doing films, printing of images and even as a subject for my mum, so I've had alot of time infront and behind the camera which I believe gives me that extra knowledge in photography. I have always loved capturing images for my family and have thought about doing photography for a living but just got too busy with life and working security. It was when I met Rob from Hunter Productions and Photography, funnily enough at our current Security job that photography for me really became a "this can actually happen" kind of thing. My goal for Penny Picture Perfect isn't to become rich and famous it is just to make enough income to leave the security industry and to be comfortable with our finances so we are able to spend more time as a family. Not only is my little family my reason for starting Penny Picture Perfect but what sealed it and helped me see this is what I want to do and this is what I am passionate about is seeing the clients faces and reactions to the images we take. When i am taking photos it does not feel like "job" it feels more of a privilege! To be able to capture those memories for our clients and families is what warms my heart. They are some of the reasons I decided to start Penny Picture Perfect. I specialise in Babies Birth Story, Maternity, Newborn, Family, Toddler, Cake smash and Events but i also do Boudiour, Model, Couple shoots, Engagement shoots and many more!
