24.01.2022 Mass was celebrated this morning at St Joseph's Church, Kalangadoo, praying for the deceased parishioners of Kalangadoo followed by the blessing of graves at the Kalangadoo Cemetery.

24.01.2022 Congratulations to some of the children from our parish who received the Sacrament of Confirmation and made their First Holy Communion today on the Feast of Christ the King. Thank you to all who helped prepare the children and all those who ensured it was celebrated reverently under the current protocols. God's richest blessings to you all!

11.01.2022 In today's homily for Confirmation and First Holy Communion, Fr Michael talked about the newly beatified Blessed Carlo Acutis who said that the Eucharist was his 'highway to heaven'. Fr Michael encouraged the children to become saints and pointed out that Blessed Carlo shows us that being a saint is possible for young people even in the 21st century. If you're not familiar with Blessed Carlo's story, here is a short video about this young saint.

05.01.2022 Masses will be celebrated in Penola this Sunday, 22 November at 8am and 9am. I have scheduled an extra Mass for this Sunday at 8am to help spread out the numbers. (Please note that Mass will be celebrated at 10.30am for the children who will be Confirmed and receive their First Holy Communion. This Mass will be restricted to the children and their immediate families. Other parishioners are asked to attend Mass at 8am or 9am.) Mass will also be celebrated in Kingston SE at 12...noon this Sunday, 22 November. Any problems, contact Fr Michael.
