25.01.2022 2020 Towers Magazine- Orders now open. The Towers Magazine is an annual publication (Since 1950) that builds upon the rich history and traditions of Penrith Selective High School. In the late 1940s, due in large part to lobbying by the Parents and Citizens’ Association and the Nepean District Educational Council, the site known by locals as The Towers was purchased by the Department of Education. The site was used to build a new high school in order to address the growing ...need for a dedicated secondary school between Katoomba and Parramatta. With the first edition published in 1950 to celebrate the opening of the new high school, the Towers Magazine is both a reflection of school pride, and a tribute to the origins of Penrith Selective High School as we know it today. In the upcoming 2020 issue of the Towers Magazine, you will find reports from the school Principal and Deputy Principals, updates from each Faculty, and content celebrating student achievements across 2020, in addition to graduation profiles for this year's Year 12 cohort. Details have been sent directly to each family via email. Orders will close on Monday 30th November 2020, with copies expected to be ready for pickup by students in early Term 1, 2021. Please note, this will be the only opportunity to purchase the Towers Magazine for 2020. Payments can be made online via our Westpac Parent Payment System on the school's website. The first 4 editions of Towers can be found here: https://penrith-h.schools.nsw.gov.au//historical-towers-ma
