19.01.2022 Keep a watch out for ‘Bundanoon’s’ mini donkeys on Better homes and Gardens tonight. So cute

19.01.2022 Come on down to the Penrose Village General Store (Saturday 10.30 onwards) and pick up some free plants from the wonderful organisation Volunteers for Peace who are donating plants to bush fire affected communities. Such a wonderful gesture.

16.01.2022 You know the alert levels of Advice, Watch and Act, and Emergency Warning. The way these are displayed on our website and Fires Near Me NSW smartphone app is c...hanging. Soon you’ll see these new icons. It’s part of the new Australian Warning System, to help you receive consistent information in emergencies no matter where you live, work or travel. While the icons may look different, what they mean doesn't change - you should check for information about what to do to protect you and your family. Keep an eye out for the new icons later this week. Check https://www.rfs.nsw.gov.au//gen/australian-warnings-system for info.

16.01.2022 Lovely to see a Penrose tree at Government House.

13.01.2022 Great job everyone

13.01.2022 Next Friday 4th December we are holding a Car Boot Picnic - the important word here is picnic! (This is NOT a car boot sale) We are inviting you to come along to the Penrose Park/Oval in your car with your own picnic - throw down a rug and enjoy an evening catching up with friends. Southern Highlands singer/songwriter Angus Murray will be there providing some great music and we cant wait to see you all. This event will follow Covid regulations and cars will have their own socially distanced space

08.01.2022 Many thanks to Rita and Stephen from International Volunteers for Peace for all the plants they dropped off at Penrose Village General Store today - thanks Simon and Ellie. Also thanks to everyone who called in and gave the plants a new home. We still have a few left - including some veg seedlings so pop down tomorrow and have a look. If you take a plant the only thing we ask is that you take a photo of the plant in its new home and email it to [email protected]
