14.01.2022 Firefighters are facing difficult conditions on many of the 132 bush and grass fires burning across NSW this afternoon. At 5pm, there are 55 fires that are not ...yet contained. Two fires are at Emergency Warning - the Currowan fire (Shoalhaven) and the Meads Creek West fire (Upper Hunter). While it's likely to be cooler tomorrow, it's going to be very windy. This will mean some of these fires will spread quickly and homes may be at threat. Remember - if you're in a fire affected area, your safest option is leaving early. 11.01.2022 At 5.30pm there are 151 bush and grass fires burning in NSW, 79 of these are uncontained. Over the past 24 hours, around 100 new fires kicked off. More than 2,200 personnel are working to slow the progress of the fires.

30.12.2021 At 9pm, there are 62 bush and grass fires burning in NSW, 24 still to be contained. All fires are now back at Advice. Dry storm cells are moving across southern and western parts of NSW, with little to no rain. Make sure you report new fires to Triple Zero (000) immediately.
